Staying up to date with OwnerRez news, new features, and important updates directly in the app helps ensure you don't miss anything crucial. OwnerRez in-app Announcements display news and important information about your account through a rotating carousel at the top and a dedicated sidebar panel.
Announcements Bar
Rotating Announcements appear at the top of the OwnerRez app header in a carousel, surfacing important messages. We do not "announce" to our users unnecessarily to the point of annoyance, but only when there is a need to communicate important and timely news and information. There's also a megaphone icon that displays the number of unread announcements.
Some Announcements may stay visible until required actions are completed.
Types of Announcements
OwnerRez Announcements are organized by priority into four categories, which can be identified by their font color.
- Blue - Informational
- Gold - Warning
- Red - Danger
- Green - Success
Announcement History
Click the Announcements megaphone icon to view all unread announcements in the Announcements flyout.
Did you dismiss an announcement that you didn't mean to? Or did an announcement expire before you had a chance to review it? No problem! Your Announcement History is available by clicking on the Announcements megaphone icon menu and clicking on the Show Dismissed button at the bottom of the Announcement History flyout.
Announcement History defaults to Product and Partnership announcements. They are sorted from newest to oldest, along with the date the announcement was posted. You will see any announcements made since you opened your OwnerRez account.
Users can select Read More. If the announcement links to a blog post or support article, it will open in a new tab. If an announcement has a "message body," it will pop up on the page. Users can click/tap on Close (or click/tap anywhere outside the pop-up) to exit the pop-up.
If you want to see announcements about Incidents or Webinars (or filter a different way than the default), just click on the categories, select the ones you want, then click/tap Apply.
