Scheduling specific cleaning dates and times ensures properties are guest-ready, boosts turnover efficiency, and maintains a high level of cleanliness. Currently, OwnerRez offers a single scheduling option for housekeeping: you can specify a particular day and/or time for a property to be cleaned after a booking, which will be displayed in the booking popup in the ribbon and other displays.
We have integrations with several companies that specialize in providing detailed housekeeping and maintenance scheduling capabilities, including some that are free for OwnerRez users. Your configured cleaning dates and times may be synced to these Housekeeping Service partners.
Cleaning Date
There are a couple of different ways to add a cleaning date. The first is to navigate to the specific Booking Overview tab and click the Change/Move pencil icon.
Alternatively, you can navigate to the booking overview tab, click the upper-right kebab menu, and select Change/Move Booking from the dropdown list.
On the Change Booking page, scroll down to Advanced > Cleaning Date field and enter the cleaning date.
Cleaning Time
To configure your cleaning time, navigate to the specific Booking > Change/Move Booking > Advanced > Cleaning Time, and enter the desired cleaning start time.
If the booking checkout time changes, the cleaning date and time remain the same, provided it's later than the new checkout date.

Cleaning dates and/or times are also displayed on the Booking Overview and Contact Info sections.
