...ind and book directly has been against their TOS for as long as they've been charging commissions, which is many years now.  So it's nothing at all new. by Ken T (/forums/users/347381996) – Apr 14, 2024 2:54 AM (UTC)

    Hi Ken,

One picture is a QR link to a store where guests can enhance their stay by purchasing products and/or services. That is not related to evading commissions.

    1. Military discount- We offer military discount. In order to make sure this is a valid request, we require ID to verify this is a valid request.

    2. Repeat guest discounts- We would verify this is indeed a repeat guest by their profile.

    Ken et al,

I send guest materials in the days immediately before arrival.  A guest booking on the day of arrival will not get a templette that has a trigger 3 days before arrival. A guest booking 2 or months prior is likely to forget this data.  If i send a templette on arrival and 3 days prior both a guest booking 4 days out would get the same template 3 and 4 days before arrival.  Sending num...

    Hello

I have 2 properties, one is our vacation rental and the other I use for a car rental that is offered with our VR. If a guest pays us directly for one property and then we create a booking in the other property, why doesn't the CC stay connected?

I cannot use the CC linked to property A with their booking on property B https:...

Does OR have a way to automate discounting rents when it gets to within 2 weeks of arrival date or do I need another service such as Pricelabs?  Thanks

We constantly receive requests from guests for early check-in.

For example, our normal check-in time is 4 PM and let's say the guest wants to check in at 2PM. I set up a template with a trigger that sends the guest the door access code at 4 PM. It would be very useful if I could edit the trigger for a specific booking and change the time from 4 PM to 2...

...lifornia regulations.  But that wouldn't apply to your own Florida-based direct-book website.

As we read it, there are two halves to the regulation:

    1. You must allow free cancellation within 24 hours.  Although OwnerRez custom cancellation policies (which match and map to Vrbo's) don't support this option at present, OwnerRez itself doesn't enforce any cancellation policies itself - it sim...

...so, this way you can have specific return email addresses used for each property.

That function won't do what you're after here, though.

    2. In an individual email template, you can control the return address directly.  Normally you leave the default field codes, so the system automatically sets the return addresses dynamically based on...

would this address have changed when OR took over the sync or would it have always been like this? by James L (/forums/users/347411094) – Jun 13, 2024 5:20 PM (UTC)

This would have not changed with an active API connection and would have stayed the same, for two reasons:

    1. The OwnerRez API integration with Booking.com is not as comprehensive as most of our other API connections, so, ther...

It would be very helpful to have a feature where processing fees are only applied based on the payment type that is being selected.  For example, pay by credit card, pay 3.5% credit card processing fee; pay by check, no fee; pay by venmo, pay 2% fee.
