    I have to cancel my first reservation since going live with OR with API connections.  This is at the guest's request but Airbnb is dragging their feet on handling it on her end.  I think I remember reading somewhere that with the API connection there would no longer be penalties to the landlord if we cancel.  Am I remembering correctly or just wishful thinking?  Thanks

    Since the roll-out of the new layout, it's been very difficult to navigate scrolling back and forth trying to see all the needed columns in list view even with the black ownerrez nav bar minimized....especially if we use tags.    It would be so helpful if we were able to order the columns the way we need to see them, or hide ones we don't want to see.

    How can I change a booking's status from Confirmed to Completed? I would also want to hide or move completed bookings so that my dashboard shows only current or future bookings.

    We're not aware of any widespread problems along these lines.  It does look like an Airbnb glitch, and you've confirmed everything is in fact working, so that sounds like it's just a display bug.  If it doesn't clear, you could report it to Airbnb tech support to investigate.

    In the case of "request to book," I don't think there's is a vrbo reservation so there is nothing for the guest to cancel.

    Sadly, the Vrbo channel bridge did not work today for me, again. It failed earlier in the program than it ever has, for both the modified since and a single reservation.

    I have been working with Robin for several weeks on this issue, and have updated him/her today of the latest errors.

    Thank you for trying to get this working again. It's a great tool and has saved me a lot of time.

    Yes, you can indicate "host or guest" in OwnerRez, and, the API sends that flag to Vrbo.

    Note that this isn't dependent on who literally does the cancellation - that is always the host, as the guest has no ability to do so.  It's intended to indicate the underlying cause.  E.g. if the host cancels a guest because they failed to follow a house rule posted visibly on Vrbo, such as a requirement t...

    Hey Alyssa,

    We'd recommend using Google's browser translation for this purpose. OwnerRez itself does not have multi-lingual capabilities at this time, but we find that the Google Translate options work quite well. For example, I can click the kebab menu (three dots) on the top right of any Chrome page, then select Translate. Toggling over to Spanish translates the entire page for me....

    Hi Robert. You are right about VRBO. I assumed VRBO requires this, but, after a short amount of research, it does not. Airbnb typically verifies with photo ID, but not always (). I and all others that I know on Airbnb have had to verify their identity when signing up with Airbnb with their driver's license scan. Good clarification. Thanks!

    Something else to consider - Airbnb does not actually verify the identity of guests.

    It is all-too-easy for a relative or friend or acquaintance of an Airbnb guest to use that person's account or for the account holder to book for that person as if that person were them.

    If you read what Airbnb says about their verification process, they say only that they "may" ask for government-issued ph...
