OwnerRez is designed to make communication with your guests easier and more effective. A large part of doing this successfully is branding. The Settings > Theming area provides a way to establish a consistent brand image:

    * Customize your name, business phone number, business name, social media links and email ret...

Once you configure your seasons, rates, surcharges, discounts, and taxes, the next step is to test them and make sure they're configured correctly and working as expected. We make every effort to provide clear and simple configuration areas, but only you know your expected rate structure and whether things are looking correct or not.

We recommend testing the first time once you have all of your r...

Some owners only rent their properties for part of the year, during tourist season. Then the property sits un-rented for half the year until high season comes around again.

You should not pause your OwnerRez account for seasonal use. We've found that this is a bad business model. Vacation rental business is fluid across the year. Even if you only book 3 or 4 months of the year, your website and o...

Hi, I can't find any way to import our FAQs for Rezzy, I'm wondering if it's possible to import them?  We have around 100 defined and was hoping we didn't have to enter them one by one.

Often enough, OR Door locks do not sync and a guest shows up, only to be out in the cold with no access to the home while they work to get ahold of our team, so we can let them in. We then sync the door code with no issue and it goes through fine to the Schlage app and door lock. It’s clearly a service issue but they said to put in a feature request, and to get enough votes, in order for them to fi...

    Hi,

Rezzy is currently only useful for the very first messages on OTAs. In my workflow, once guests have my direct contact details (email or WhatsApp), they no longer use Airbnb, and Rezzy cannot be used for the rest of the conversation.

In addition, inquiries coming from my own website cannot be answered with Rezzy at all.

Because of this, it’s hard to justify the paid version when Rez...

We use seasons for a variety of key times throughout the year, such as to restrict check-in/out on a holiday and so forth. There are also a few select times of year when we need to require a changeover gap (one night between guest stays) for logistical reasons. Right now, we are unable to add that in the season settings as changeover/gap rules are not available there. Separately we need to execute...

I'd like to request that the booking window for gap-filling bookings be able to be set separately from normal bookings. For example, if our default minimum stay is 3 nights, a 2-night gap would become bookable only within the 30-days-out timeframe. We'd love to be able to sell a lot more gap bookings, but the way it works right now there's just too much possibility of cancellations far out, and we'...

I would have to agree Susan, this isn't really a feature request, it's more of a need to have.  We have recently moved over from another PMS where we were using a Jervis integration, and never had any issue with the lock synchronization.  Since Door Codes are listed as a feature of the OR product I did not realize there were existing problems with synchronization.  Thanks for the heads up!

    Hey Ariel!

We wanted to let you know that our team is aware of this issue and is currently working on it, but there's no ETA at this time. We should post in our  Weekly Release Notes ()  once the issue has been resolved.

Here's what I came up with:  Increase your nightly rate for the weekends to equal the nightly rate of the Parent.  I do this through PriceLabs and their day of week price adjustments

If someone books the Child through the weekend at the Parent price, I don't care because I will be making the same amount of revenue.  This has worked well for us, we are getting a lot of mid-week stays on the Ch...

    Hey Robert!

Although the tag automations can only be added to bookings, and not the guest contact themselves, you should be able to manually add tags to the contacts. You should be able to do this in their booking by going to the Overview tab and clicking the Change button next to Tags in the Guest section. From there, you can add a tag. More on how to do this here:

    Thanks Kaitie for your answer.

That's disappointing. I do know how to add the tags to contacts and other things manually.

I was hoping to automate the process adding them to guests. I guess we're only part-way there!

Wow! Love the video response! The more I work with the company, the people, and the technology, the more impressed I am. Thank you.

Apologize for my lack of clarity! In my case, I had a returning guest who needed an extension on the quote expiration date. I would like to trigger a gentle reminder email x days before the quote expires, and possibly the day after it expires. This would allow the...

    Hey Jennifer,

Unfortunately, there isn't a dedicated cancelled bookings report in OwnerRez, as you're already aware. However, you can still access and analyze your cancelled bookings data by exporting your Bookings List View.

    - Go to the main Bookings screen
    - Select List view
    - Use the Filters to select Booking Status = Cancelled
    - Export the results to Excel for further analysis

    Hey Mitch,

We fixed that a while back, so you can definitely do exactly what you're looking for. Here is a live running example of exactly what you're asking for (a single schedule that covers an overnight time period):
