Can you tell us a little bit about your history?

Mitch Warren: We bought our first condo 25 years ago on June 4. I was expecting a nice check at the end of the first month, and instead, the management company sent me a bill that included three new vacuum cleaners, replacement of worn salad...

The latest increase in HomeAway security is a 2-step authentication requirement which requires the user to get a phone or text message before logging into the HomeAway website. While we have developed programmable ways of integrating with this, i...

...by not being listed on Google Vr.

Comparing it to booking is irrelevant. Booking are just horrendous to deal with as a company - my experience there.  by Colin B (/forums/users/347416835) – Oct 20, 2023 2:17 PM (UTC)

You assume that Goog is better to deal with than BDC?  You can already see that price display is screwy on traveler facing side and usually shows for only 2 people which is a...

    2) In many cases, our OwnerRez users are using widgets or custom website landing pages in ways that do not correctly show the same rates or availability as what Google is looking for.  When Google veri...

...the dates/guests provided? Again, not sure how that would work on the back end.

Trying to use a set % or fee amount and just tack that on can be tough.
AirBnB currently seems to hit my guests with 12.9% in fees plus I mark my rates up 3% to cover CC fees. So that could work
BUT... VRBO tends to have no rhyme or reason to their fees so that makes it a little harder outside of my peak season when g...

The priority numbering states that higher numbers take precedence... but the sorting in the list doesn't seem to recognize that (1 is sorted before 2). Is the higher number truly the priority? I don't want my channel-bridge imported VRBO bookings to email a link to the direct-booking rental agreement.

    My priority settings are

Do you have longer mins, where in gaps you don't want to give a 2 night min? If so, I see what you're saying there.

If two nights in gaps is fine, do a rule of "During Gaps, use this minimum instead: 2 nights" and it'll apply what you're wanting.

    ...ly. 😜

If you preview your agreement (I assume you're talking about the "BOOKINGRA" agreement) against bookings, they are showing 1 day because the booking rule is 1 day. Yes, the property level is 2 days but it's getting changed to 1 at the booking level.

Take a look at McGahee booking # ORB2505443. To the rules tab. If we track that backwards, looks like that was set that way because the quo...

I have 2 taxes - a 9.75% state and 3% county. I have one tax line item for total 12.75% and I break tax down into 2 parts and remit accordingly on my own. Showing potential guests multiple tax lines is not a good marketing idea imo.

It gives and error something about 2 rows for reservation. Just to be clear, AirBNB doe not have taxes in my area, so how I handle it, is that after initial acceptance of the request, I send "price alteration" for additional amount" that is for tax. So what it does that it creates to 2 payouts for same reservation, for ex: $1000 is one amount (rent plus cleaning fee) and $100 for tax. each of those...

You actually can do that second message trigger already ;-) -- here's how:

    1) Create an "at a scheduled time" type trigger 1 day after arrival

    2) Go down to the Booking Fields and add a booking criteria for number of nights >= 2

...When I had a private lady clean my condo in Myrtle Beach, I purchased 3 entire sets of linens for all the beds / baths / kitchen. She kept set one locked in the owners closet for emergency use, set 2 was in use by the "current" guests and set three was taken home by her and washed / folded at her leisure.

She would just exchange sets 2 and 3 every turn over which in my case is every Saturday....

Also I can pretty much guarantee there will be an abandon if I see that number of people on inquiry 2-5, they won't book. They just come to the site because they saw pretty photos. My cabins are a great value for the number of people they sleep (10 and 12) but for 2-3 people it may be much more than...
