Simply the Best
The program is intuitive, and every time I need to do something different, I'm amazed to see that there's a way to do it! They are always incredibly upbeat, helpful, smart and pleasant to work with. In 5 years I have never had a complaint. Even on holidays with a non-emergency, someone has gotten back to me to help. If I'm not mistaken, I think all their customer service people run properties on their own and it gives them so much insight and understanding. They not only figure out what to do, but sometimes they send me a video where they actually show me what to do using my own info. I run 12 cabins in the mountains in Southern California and with OwnerRez, I don't even have to pay someone to handle the communications around bookings...OR takes care of everything. Sometimes I call them with such a pickle of a problem and they have an easy way to handle it. They're the best.
Switched From: Hostaway and Guesty
Reasons for Switching to OwnerRez: I did not like those platforms. They didn't help me and I felt like I was one of a million customers. I have no idea if it's true, but I feel like I'm special at OR. But I know i"m not...they are just real good at what they do.

Pros
The program is strong, broad and intelligent, but mostly I love the customer service. Every single member of the team is knowledgable and 100% understands my problem or requests and their help is spot on. There is so much fluidity in the program, which allows you to edit everything to be just the way you want it. It boggles my mind sometimes, when I see how intricate the system is in considering every alternative you may want to choose from. I've used two other property management softwares (well known brands in the industry) and OR is so much better. They don't pick up the phone when you call...so you don't get instant help. But there's nothing I hated more than people who picked up immediately but I couldn't understand a word they were saying and they didn't understand my problem. I wouldn't trade, in a million years, the kind of service you get with OR for someone who picks up immediately but doesn't really help.
Cons
When we shifted from strictly individual bookings to small retreats, some of the bells and whistles that OwnerRez can deliver, didn't really apply to us and once or twice I had a need that was just too outside the box for them. Not really their fault because they don't cater to retreats. But I depend on them so much and I found a way, often with their expert help, to make it work for us anyway.
