Is it best practice to set a higher price in pricelabs and then apply discounts to direct bookings, or to start with direct booking prices in pricelabs and then add surcharges to bookings that come from other channels, or some mix of these two strategies

Also, how do you account for different platforms "take" when setting up discounts and surcharges. For example, if Platform A keeps 20% of gue...

First of all, when you have an urgent issue, there’s no phone number to call and no fast email support. Responses often take 48 hours or more — and sometimes they don’t even answer the actual question, or they just say “watch the videos” (there are hundreds of them).

On top of that, new “features” like Rezzi guest messaging are being added, but they charge $10/month per unit for it — while othe...

Several owners have requested a Google Map showing the location of their home and its proximity to nearby ski resorts. We recommend adding this map to the booking page on our website, which is integrated with OwnerRez.  In the example below, it would look great under the booking form. It could be something that we could turn on or off on the Owner Rez widget.

    Example:

I strongly support this request. I’m in the process of onboarding a new multi-unit property with multiple room types under a single address, and the lack of true hotel-style inventory management is already a material constraint.

Managing shared availability, centralized pricing, and reporting across similar or variant units is foundational for this type of asset. Without it, operators are force...

    Hi,

I'd like to request that the Listing Site dropdown menu only display listing sites that are actually in use, as it's extremely annoying to have to scroll way down and hunt for the one or two we need. Or, at the very least, instead of the categories "My Listing Sites" and "System Listing Sites" start with "Listing Sites Currently in Use" on top, and then have your mile-long list of "Other Li...

Simplest way:  Quotes> Create quote > add your recipient's email > send. They can book using that emailed quote. Keep in mind that if you want them to pay through that quote, you need to have at least 1 payment method established within OR.

Here is an article - easy to find in the support center by searching "direct bookings

This is good to know.  I was considering moving from Fire TV to Roku just for this feature ... but if it doesn't return the device to the previous guest ready config then that is a show stopper!

We clearly communicate to our guests that it is their responsibility to log out of any streaming accounts before they leave ... and we do this in multiple places.  While I know that doing a good job o...

I got to the link about the Crewdogs and Ownerez integration and get this:

I go to the Crewdogs main website page and get this:

So let me ask, when is it in today's digital world that it is okay for a service to be offline for "a few hours" for maintenance?  Answ...

    Hi Tom,

You’re absolutely right, it’s never acceptable for a service to be offline. Our systems faced an unusual spike in traffic that briefly affected availability for some users. The event was designed to overwhelm our platform, but our team acted quickly to stabilize performance. Importantly, no data was ever at risk, and we’re confident this won’t impact you again.

    We apologize for the...

Paul's screenshot was just pointing out where you would be able to set the months. If you set the first to "On or after January" you wouldn't be able to put a second for February. There are two configuration options available:

    1) Your first would need to be "Arrival Month" is "on" "January".

    2) You can do ranges such as "Arri...

I’m sorry, but I completely disagree with what you said.
The customer support is not good at all, and there’s absolutely no real follow-up with clients.

For example, a few days ago I checked why I wasn’t getting any reservations from Booking.com, and it turned out that Booking.com had deactivated my account, while in OwnerRez it still showed as connected and “working perfectly.”

    I’m paying...

@Anne -- Aside from me changing my internal lock names to what I would prefer they be listed as in the guest messaging, there's unfortunately no workarounds until this feature is added () .

It's our understanding that HiChee isn't doing this now. However, they're making note of these requests, so please reach out to HiChee and let them know this is something you want to see!

Exactly... this would be worth it's weight in gold!

I'm glad OwnerRez is integrating with HiChee, but this requires users to have a HiChee account to see the price comparison if I am not mistaken. Is there any plans to create an OwnerRez or HiChee widget to embed on my direct booking website just below the OwnerRez check-out widget or as part of that widget. That is what we looking for. So when...

Nina, all countries that use the $ symbol are supported equally. USD does not override any other in OwnerRez. USD is often set as the default when you first join based on the location of your device (eg. if you are in Florida, it will detect that and mark USD).

There is a Currency option under the Settings > > Branding & Legal > Guest Culture area. Yours is currently set to United States Dollar...

    Hi Paul,

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, it doesn’t quite resolve the issue. While we are indeed in Belize where BZD is used, USD is also widely accepted—especially in the tourism sector, where it’s considered the standard.

The confusion arises because the USD amounts are not explicitly labeled as such. What I’m requesting is that all currencies be clearly identified by their code (e....

The confusion arises because the USD amounts are not explicitly labeled as such. What I’m requesting is that all currencies be clearly identified by their code (e.g., USD, BZD, etc.) to avoid any misunderstanding.

If you're asking that we put a "xxx" currency abbreviations on every rate/amount everywhere in the app, we probably aren't going to do that as that would not follow our design practi...

How do you do thissecurity deposits are permitted, they must be disclosed in the appropriate fee field”? This seems to be something OwnerRez needs to work with Airbnb, so their help matches how it works in practice or they are allowed to disclose the security deposit at checkout.

This is already configured and handled within OwnerRez. As long as you have your Security Deposit configured on yo...
