We recently announced our support for 3D Secure 2 ("3DS2") which allows our European users to successfully take credit card payments while following 3DS2 legal requirements. Over the past few weeks, as we've worked with European users, we've enhanc...

Mark: I'm a native of the Phoenix area, born and raised on the west side in a small city called El Mirage. I moved to the Tempe area in 1992 to attend Arizona State University, where I received my BA and MBA. I currently have three kids (25, 5, 2), and my hobbies are work and my two young daughters. I wish I had more time for other activi...
Hi
I am several weeks away from making my first VR available (taking 6 months to get my 2 townhomes VR-ready)
The cavalier attitude of the OTAs is one of my biggest concerns in the future. So I am considering a few self-defense measures:
-- Cleaning fee (obvious) - I don't allow pets.
-- 3% damage deposit on all bookings PLUS a security deposit.
-- 12-15% fee on Booking.com bookings (to counter t...
...cessor fees, but in most cases it is possible to find an account provider with a lower rate - particularly if you are doing so much business as you describe, I'd think you could find something in the 2% range. This would save a great deal.
You are correct that most processors do not refund their processing fees in the event of a cancellation... but, not all. Again, with such a large volume th...
In my experience you need to watch processors like a hawk and rebid your account every year.
I would like to see our community discuss this and say what their volume and average ticket is and what their processor is charging.
We should be able to get to the low 2% range given our large average ticket.
In the last few days or week, I've noticed that each import I do from Airbnb via Channel Bridge is not correctly importing payments. Guests who have at least paid 1/2 their balance for future stays are reporting as having paid nothing yet. Previously the behavior of Channel Bridge import was to show that the balance had been paid on reservations that had been made on Airbnb.
Example reservation: O...

For guests, there's not yet a special "guest list" type field (we have plans for that). For now, just create multiple fields -- Guest 1 Name, Guest 2 Name, etc.
...around that:
1) Go to the Airbnb settings in OwnerRez, click "Change Property Mappings" and switch the sync for that property to "Limited". That will stop syncing listing content for the moment.
2) Go to Airbnb and make the changes you need for house manual -- those options will be re-enabled since the sync is in Limited mode
3) Once everything looks good on house manual, come back to OwnerRe...
...t page. The popup window gives me Export Criteria to export bookings / reviews "since" or "staying between," etc., but it would be helpful to know here on this page when the last export was done.
2. The specific Channel Bridge page where I push rates. I'd like to know when the last time was I pushed rates as I am getting ready to do it again.
Thanks!
You're using the BDC API, so OR will know when guests make payments using BDC.
Is that what you want thought? You might want to talk to BDC support about switching that third property to use your OR processor like the other 2.
...no cost differences on the OR side -- the API integration is part of the channel management package. And there's no differences on the HA side either -- you'll pay the same subscription or PPB fee.
2) You can actually add the channel now (and you need to before starting the integration process with them). This is in Settings > Channel Connections -- click "Connect a Channel" and then under the AP...
How long have you been waiting since the PO order went in for the rep to call you. He indicated to me that once the PO went into the queue he had 2 days to complete it. I am just trying to time this with my busy schedule.

Several different things here...
1. API docs start here (there are a lot of them):
2. Channel Bridge docs start here:
3. Importing and exporting calendars is completely separate from Channel Bridge. Look here:
