Brand Guidelines
Who we are, how we sound, and how to use the OwnerRez logo, colors, type and imagery in your marketing materials.
Brand Foundations
OwnerRez is vacation rental software built by property managers, for property managers. Founded by software engineers who are also vacation rental owners, we're profitable, privately owned and People First: customers and employees come before profits. We position ourselves as the last vacation rental software independent owners and growing property managers will ever need, with professional tools and no surprise fees, missing features, or support that vanishes when they need it most.

Logo Guidelines
Primary Logo Design
This is the main logo in the logo suite.
Use this logo on all main brand materials, including promotional products, digital platform and marketing materials.
Primary Logo Clearspace
A clearspace equivalent of the O letter is required around the logo to give it breathing space and keep it from interfering with other elements nearby. For print, the logo should not be smaller than 10mm in height and for digital use it should maintain a minimum height of 30px. The logo must be scaled proportionally to maintain its integrity.
Brand Mark Logo Design
The logo simplifies our brand identity into a single iconic symbol: OR surrounded by a rounded square background.
This design is highly versatile and symbolic, perfect for use where space is limited or when the full logo is not necessary.
It captures the essence of our brand in a compact form, making it ideal for social media icons, app icons, and small scale merchandise.
The clear space around should be at least half the size of the brand mark. The minimum size for effective display should be not less than 20px tall for digital use and 5.5mm for print. Proportional scaling should be used whenever changing the size.
Naming and Trademark
Our name is the most reproduced part of our brand. It gets typed far more often than the logo gets placed.
The name is OwnerRez. One word, capital O, capital R, lowercase everything else. Never write Owner Rez, Ownerrez, OWNERREZ, or OR on its own in body copy. The OR brandmark is a graphic element, not a written abbreviation. Don't hyphenate across a line break. Set the name as no-break where the layout allows it. Never bold or color only part of the name in running text. The two-tone treatment belongs to the logo file, not to typed copy.
Logo Files and Naming
Use SVG for anything on screen. Use EPS for print and large-format vinyl. Use PNG only when SVG isn't accepted. Never use JPG for the logo, since it leaves grey fringing around the edges.
The naming pattern is ownerrez-[type]-[color].[ext]. Nobody should ever need to recreate, trace, or screenshot our logo.
Logo on Backgrounds and Photography
The logo has to hold up on a photograph of a beach house at sunset as well as it does on white. These are the rules that make that work.
On photography, use the all-white logo on a dark area and the full-color on a light area. Use the logo only over an area of the image that is visually quiet. If you have to squint to read it, add a scrim or move the logo.
The scrim is OR Dark at 50% opacity, sized to half the clearspace (half the size of O). Don't invent a different scrim.
Co-branding and Partners
We sit next to Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, Stripe, and hundreds of integration partners. Those pairings need a shape, or every banner ends up different.
Horizontal lockup. OwnerRez sits on the left. A 1px OR Dark divider at 30% opacity sits between the two logos. The gap on each side of the divider equals the clearspace, one O width. The partner logo sits on the right, optically balanced to the same visual weight, not the same pixel height.
Stacked lockup. Use only when the horizontal version won't fit. OwnerRez on top, divider as a horizontal rule, partner below.
Logo Misuse
This page is designed to protect the integrity, consistency and identity of the brand across all platforms and media. Ensuring that the logos are used correctly helps maintain the brand's professional appearance and market recognition. Always use official logo files for reproduction to ensure consistency, and avoid altering the logo's proportions.
Color Guidelines
Color Palette
Our brand colors are chosen to convey the vibrant and dynamic essence of OwnerRez. Each color has been chosen to communicate the warmth of the brand but also the contrast between elements. This deliberate color coordination ensures that our visual communications are cohesive and resonate with our audience.

Color Use
Our brand colors should be used thoughtfully to maximize their impact and maintain visual coherence across all media. Here you can see an approved pairing of colors.
Type Guidelines
Our Brand Fonts
Our fonts Montserrat and Helvetica Neue are chosen to balance impact with readability.
Montserrat is used for headers and subheaders to draw attention and Helvetica Neue for the body text ensures ease of reading for longer texts.
Together these typefaces enhance our visual hierarchy.
Typography Use and Misuse
Our typography guidelines ensure that our brand communication is both powerful and legible. The examples show and highlight the importance of maintaining correct hierarchy, leading and tracking, to ensure optimal readability and aesthetic appeal.
