When a guest pays for early checkin/late checkout, the calendar should be automatically updated. Today this is a manual task and we have to constantly monitor if a guest has paid for early checkin/late checkout. We sometimes miss them and then our cleaners do not know if the guest has paid for early checkin/late checkout.
With respect to the cleaners, we show the late checkout time on the cleaning report, so this is not an issue for us. The issue we have is if a guest books a late checkout, say 6PM, we need to remember to manually block off that day, because if we don't, OR allows a new guest to book a stay starting that day with a 4PM check in.....
It would be great if the software recognizes this is a conflict and disallowed or at least created a warning message.....
We would also love this feature as our guests also have the option to pay a surcharge for a late checkout during the booking process.
Currently we manually check each booking for the surcharge and modify the check-out time.
It would be wonderful to have the surcharge trigger the late check-out automatically.
