WebP a next-gen image format which reduces image sizes. It would be nice if OwnerRez supported it. File sizes are typically smaller and more efficient.
Current blog Masthead images are fairly large in size and only support PNG, JPG, JPEG, GIF, BMP, & ICO formats.
This suggestion was recommended to my site by PageSpeed Insights, which is a tool Google suggests for page performance optimization:

This is an important feature enhancement. The change from jpg to webp will reduce file sizes significantly. An example I just did was having to convert my webp image that was 85KB to a jpg that came to 210KB since webp is not supported.
I am working with a digital marketing agency and they believe the Webp format would help our pages load significantly faster, leading to stickier website visits. I agree!
