    ...dditional call. Pretty sweet, right!

One of the high-level goals of the 2.0 API is to reduce chatter and provide a more-functional interface for developers. In other words, we want you to do more stuff with fewer calls. This approach of mixing in tags and fields achieves that because, as a partner, you can request booking data and see the tags and fields for that booking at the same time without m...

Have you been annoyed by any door lock stuff recently? Well, we have! We've been building a list of stuff to tweak, and this past week we knocked out a bunch of it.

First, we noticed a situation where you couldn't set a manual code on a blo...

    * PM and Accounting work are continuing at full speed. I documented the deposit and Airbnb stuff above, but we are also working on delivering a Year-End report for PMs/Owners before the end of 20...

Yep, those things. And yes, we've known about it too. To make matters worse, as you keep clicking stuff, new pop-over cards would open even though the old ones didn't close. You had to click on the same link as before to close a single card. We finally had enough and fixed this. It is much easier no...

While we can't work on channel stuff every week, we constantly make notes so that we can jump on improvements when the time allows. Not a month goes by when we aren't making channel updates. In this release, we hit a couple of things w...

I would love to start putting the daily checklist and date range checklist to better use, but there is so much extra stuff on there that we don't need. Such as owner name, cleaning date, guest email, etc. Could these columns be checkboxes when we run the report, similar to tags and custom fields, and we could uncheck them if we don't want the info?

I just went through all the steps and spoke to Namecheap and they got all my DNS stuff connected, etc.  Everything is showing good.

So.... do I change my email to my business email now?  Or do I leave everything in my account as my @gmail.com?

I guess I'm just a little confused how everything needs to be set up.

    Thanks!!

I understand tech issues happen and I do appreciate your candor and explanation here.  That said, we lost three potential bookings and had airbnb suspend several of our listings.  Stuff happens and I'm not here to pile on, but this is pretty concerning.  I look forward to hearing specifically what steps will be made to try and prevent this from happening again.  Meanwhile, many of us lost revenue becau...

...s...  Thanks for your candor!  I appreciate your frustration, believe me, and 2022 was supposed to be "the year of accounting" over here.  We've had a lot of meetings about it and tasked out a lot of stuff.  Frankly, we continue growing on many fronts and have had to tackle some major PM and Channel work along with some dev-ops and sys-ops stuff to handle the growth.  We pride ourselves on having solid...

That's a great list!  Thanks for detailing that.  Several of those things, we already know about and plan to add.  In general, we are planning to do a lot of of accounting work in 2022, so stuff like this is great to be talking about!

Vrbo really shouldn't be able to grab additional commission on stuff not booked through them. Maybe the OR team needs to go back to Vrbo and bring this up in light of how commissions work with other parts of the travel industry? Ultimately, it's OR that reports the re...

PriceLabs has a feature to dynamically adjust your night gaps based on criteria you set.

Don't get it for that feature alone, the dynamic pricing and market pricing info will pay for itself in spades. The gap management and other stuff is icing on the cake.

Surely there’s some way we could turn on a fee calculation that auto populates for VRBO bookings. This repetitive manual stuff is so 2010.

Glad to see the portal feature.  That's been an issue with my business partners who were used to looking at pricing and occupancy on our previous system (while not having the ability to mess stuff up).  Looking forward to the granular access and read only features for them and the Staff/Cleaner function.  Would be great to have a report/portal access that says "Property A guests stay from B to C with D...
