I am trying to set up Mid-Term stays 21-28 days. I would like to have 2 different security deposits set up. Currently I have a security deposit set up for all stays regardless of length at $400.00/stay, but I would like to have a secondary security deposit between $1,500-$2,000/ stay with a separate booking criteria that triggers it if someone books a mid-term stay of 21-28 nights?

This is happening because you have a min weekend nights = 2 rule set on the property. Since the nights in question are all weekend nights, and since the season doesn't have a min weekend nights setting, that 2 minimum is overriding.
My suggestion would be to clear the min weekend nights rule on the property. If it's the same as min nights, you don't need it -- you only need that when it's differen...
Select $75 per night with no multiplier. Then down below in the Booking Criteria, select if Number of Guests is greater than 2. This will target any booking that has more than 2 guests and add a flat $75/night fee regardless of who many over 2 they have.

Spoke to the rep. $15 is not a gateway change, he calls it "credit card" charge. so them advertising 2.59% + 10c is not really a 2.59% once you figure in $15 monthly charge. perhaps would make sense to switch for those who have higher amounts than me. In my case at this point not worth switching over $49 or so dollars a year.

So there is a theory that offering my 5 bedroom townhome also as a 2-3 bedroom during the offseason, expands your reach I would be happy to rent it at less just to not have it empty. Like $150 instead of $250 or so a night. you can always lock 2-3 bedrooms so they dont get messed up.

Yep, that's how we started with OR back in the day, actually -- a couple of us got vacation rentals back in 2009 and being developers figured we'd put together some software. Back then there wasn't much at all.
