...hat's it -- the tax will now be pushed to Airbnb as a custom pass-through tax. Repeat with any additional taxes you have to collect - each individual separate tax authority needs its own entry.
👉 Stuff to watch out for:
* If you switch to custom taxes, you must configure all of your taxes with the appropriate criteria. Make sure to check the options on the tax page in Airbnb and on the tax dashbo...
These days, many guests are used to ordering stuff online with no human interaction. They expect the same for booking their vacations - they want to be able to just fill out a form, provide their credit card, click OK a few times, and bam! They're booked.
Some property owners want more personal interaction with their guests, though, and do not want to allow Instant Booking. Let's see how you can cont...

The last big enhancement is kind of a nerdy one and might fall under the "dev ops" stuff we don't talk about publicly. However, we decided to mention it here because it might lead to some changes you see in the user interface. We've been cleaning up our dates and time zone logic to cor...

We are changing it to use the name. The feedback on that has been overwhelming and the use case is pretty obvious. The OwnerRez engineer working on lock stuff is already actively working on putting that in place.
...the weeds on that part first.
Before Inbox cleanup, we've had to clean up messaging features (like Autoresponder) and work our way through some of the side features so that we can get to the main stuff. That, too, has already been underway for a while.
Our PM system has a large V2 about to drop that we've been working on for 2 years which changes a number of significant things around commissio...
I have a similar issue that this or a similar solution might work for...However, I use PriceLabs to handle pricing so that may be a nonstarter here, depending on how this stuff feeds to the different channels (especially Airbnb).
I am trying to prohibit check in/out on Saturdays...my new cleaner wants one day off per week...Plus I'd prefer if guests didn't split my weekends.

We have a long-planned update coming (no ETA) to unify the messaging around the guest conversation and provide 2 way email there along with your other SMS and channel stuff. The inquiry records will come into there as well.

Channel bridge...
- VRBO and Airbnb it will pull bookings (full guest info, full financials including detailed invoices and payments, not just the simplified stuff)

- Rates push coming for VRBO and Airbnb by the end of the year, possibly TA as well
- Content push coming for VRBO and Airbnb in the next few months
- Manual...

Now I need to go somewhere quiet for a bit and ponder the meaning of life. :-)
We're planning on upgrading the triggers so you won't have to do screwy stuff like this. But for now that's not actually a bad scheme. Might potentially cause some confusion with your API connections if you have any.
...onnected and then you reauthorized it. When that happens, we re-merge the existing bookings to make sure nothing's changed during the period where the channel was disconnected.
I've also had weird stuff with air bnb conversations. 2 seperate enquiries from the same person for different properties. One enquiry appears voided but the conversation link takes me to the active enquiry.
