Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) () are the questions that guests often ask. Stuff like "Where's the closest corner store?" or "How do I get the grill to light?". Common questions you might include in your guest manual or post in a list on your website. You can configure FAQs for i...

The attention to detail is what separates these guys from the rest of the crowd. It. Just. Works. Every button, every screen = just works. There's no trying to force you into using certain marketing channels or buying a bunch of stuff you don't need. It was the first time I felt like the software vendor wasn't getting in my way. Really great job.

...creens. This should reduce a lot of confusion in changing owners while also leading users down a path of success.

The last big enhancement is kind of a nerdy one and might fall under the "dev ops" stuff we don't talk about publicly. However, we decided to mention it here because it might lead to some changes you see in the user interface. We've been cleaning up our dates and time zone logic to cor...

...Let's sayyou use our calendar import to automatically import your Airbnb bookings. Because Airbnb doesn'tshare the guest's real email address, youneed to ask the guest for that (and probably other stuff) so that you can manually "clean up" the booking and keep your records up to date.

Previously, you had to remember to manually email Airbnb guests and ask for information online. Now, OwnerRez will...

...y after 3 days after 5 days after and so forth it was first quoted, this would increase our bookings a lot. I used to have a high-school kid hired that would just go through the quote list and resend stuff that had been quoted in the last 3 or 4 days and he would look to make sure there was still availability on that unit, and if not he would do a new quote on a unit that was available. Then start send...

...now, we've been working on nuances in the core quote and booking engine, tightening up the workflow and doing loads of testing. Those items have been fully hammered down, and now we're on to the new stuff.

Our list of new features and enhancements is quite large, over 150, and our beta users have provided a few more on top of that.

As the new year emerges, we're working hard on the list. Here are s...

Last night, we released an update that changed the login, register and reset-password pages; and fixed several minor bugs.

Changes to the Login, Register, Reset Stuff

Besides tweaking the design on the login pages to match previous updates, the login pages now uses a uniform login process that combines the application and website.

To simplify, after the next release (0.7.3) users will have one login...

...cheap and did it myself. I thought it was smart to try to learn it all, it would have been a wiser choice to let them set it up and learn the day to day functions first, then add the more complicated stuff. If you do it yourself, pick one area, for example the calendar syncing, and complete & understand that area before moving on to the next thing. That is my biggest helpful hint on set up and expandin...

Is there a way to add a Privacy Notice to this? There is none on the dropdowns or the bottom. Granted, I did not spend much time on this yet, but not grasp how to add that "bottom" of the site stuff such as Privacy Notice, Terms & Conditions, etc.

Do you have a stub for a VR privacy notice? Although I expect few Europeans, the GDPR does cause one to sit up and take notice. As if California wa...

That's... brilliant. Insane, but brilliant. :-0

Now I need to go somewhere quiet for a bit and ponder the meaning of life. :-)

We're planning on upgrading the triggers so you won't have to do screwy stuff like this. But for now that's not actually a bad scheme. Might potentially cause some confusion with your API connections if you have any.

...have 1 page to go to that I can see all unit's availability AND do a quote without having to navigate all over. Just a suggestion since personal devices are being used more now than computers to buy stuff online. It makes it a lot easier for the traveler as well to have just one page to see and use. Just add it to my wish list!! Thanks! :-)

I've also had weird stuff with air bnb conversations. 2 seperate enquiries from the same person for different properties. One enquiry appears voided but the conversation link takes me to the active enquiry. I have emailed support with more in depth details.

For me it is that I can't see the entire list of properties on one screen because it scrolls under the owner Rez header. I would like to be able to shrink the screen to fit on one 'screenshot'. There is plenty of computer screen, just don't have ability to look at just the calendar without the owner Rez stuff.

Agree with Blue about the questionable value of these pricing engines. If you manually adjust for holidays, weekends and recency (eg. way far out or way close) with stuff going up and down accordingly, you don't need the dynamic engines. I thought they were based on supply at one time (eg. PriceLabs would actually crawl sites and see what dates are taken) but that's not the case. They are just going up...

Our property calendar only goes down to the night, and there's a lot of stuff built round that. If you're doing multiple intraday bookings, you'd need to use a different method. If you are only doing one booking per day (but some are shorter than others), then you could make it work, but if you need to have two bookings on the same day it won't work unless you make multiple properties to hold simultane...

...ight away by users, others we found here before anyone reported it. It's all getting cleaned up now. As you refresh, you may notice some things changing slightly. Nothing dramatic, and it's all UI stuff. No data was lost or anything like that.
