What is OwnerRez doing about the new Airbnb rollout re no rental agreements

Like many on the facebook chatgroups, I am very concerned about Airbnb's new rollout that we will no longer allowed rental agreements or to collect guest data.

I sent an email to that regard to Airbnb yesterday and received a call back from their customer service to hear my concerns. The CS guy stated it was unlikely they would change their policy. I hope OwnerRez and integrated software companies push back and get an exemption for us? Please let us know how we can participate. I have already signed two Change.org petitions.

If Airbnb gets away with this, Vrbo will not be far behind.

My own situation in the UK is slightly different in that we have complicated immigration laws to follow, plus Fire Risk assessments and Health and Safety risk assessment.

Add in insurance policy restrictions and a new registration scene starting in the next 6 months and you might find that in the UK Airbnb will only be left with hosts that break the law as it’s going to get very complicated to follow both the law and stick to Airbnb policies.
