[Changes effective October 7, 2026]

Create owner bookings through v2/bookings:

POST v2/bookings now accepts an optional type: booking, block, or owner. Omitting it behaves as before.

  • Owner bookings require the Property Management module.
  • The guest is always the property's owner contact. Don't send guest_id.
  • generate_charges adds the property's surcharges and taxes but no rent. Surcharges limited to guest bookings are skipped.
  • The owner contact gets no guest confirmation email.

Other changes:

  • is_block still works but is deprecated in favor of type.
  • PATCH v2/bookings/{id} can't change a booking's type.
  • Guest bookings created through v2/bookings now get the property's cancellation policy.
