Reducing Chargebacks
I used to have an OwnerRez direct booking website, and I used Lynnbrook as my credit card processor. I had some chargebacks due to stolen credit cards and then two (from the same guest, two bookings in a row!) claiming the unit was unclean. I was never able to defend myself against any of this, so I just lost the money. After that I went Airbnb-only. Are there any services that can sit between me and the credit card processor to greatly reduce my vulnerability to this? I'd also like to be able to take deposits and then retain all or part of it when there is damage. I'm willing to pay more than 3% but would prefer not to pay 18% to Airbnb or Booking.com. My guests are very price sensitive, so offering a 10% savings compared to Airbnb will drive a lot of traffic.
