One of my most common uses for tag automation is tagging the guest as a good or unwelcome guest and it would be nice to be able to set up an automation if guests leaves a bad review, tag the guest (not the booking) as an unwelcome guest. Just as an example.

Tag Automations are still in in the early stages of development, and we're actively gathering feedback like this to shape their future. Expanding auto-tag functionality to work with guest records, like it does for Bookings currently, is definitely something we'd like to include in the future.
In the meantime, you can create a tag and have it apply automatically to the booking. When you see a booking with that tag, you can manually apply it to the guest record as needed.
The specific challenge we have is to automatically query Guests when new bookings arrive for Guest language preference. We are in the Province of Quebec where it is a strong legal requirement to serve our Guests in French. English we handle no problem. When bookings arrive there seems to be no way to tag each Guest with their language preference. We need to send out our automatic channel, SMS and email messages in the language preferred by the Guest.
Ownerrez, of course provides us the ability to set up triggers to send auto messages and emails based on Language Tag content. Thus we can send out French or English messages based on the Language Tag. The challenge is to populate the Language Tag content automatically and immediately when a booking hits the system. That is our challenge!
Given that bookings arrive from multiple sources: Airbnb, Vrbo, Booking.com, custom websites, etc., I understand this is a challenge. But short of polling our Guests individually and populating the Language Tag manually, there must be a way to facilitate this process! I am not asking for 100% effectiveness though that would be beautiful!
We are ourselves searching for effective ways to do this short of an entirely manual process. What can you do to help?

I do believe this would be a very complex feature if we did decide to take it on at some point in the future, but it's a great suggestion. Feel free to write that up as a separate Feature Request and share it with likeminded users!
Today I was on a long drive, and thinking about the functionality we desire to have around soliciting Guest language preference. Given that I have set up tags in Ownerrez for "French" and "English", (though other languages may be added): I was wondering if we could have you (Ownerrez) set up a widget that would allow us to solicit input from Guests on tags like this. In our case, as early as possible in the booking process I would like to solicit Guest selection of language preference through an auto-sent email such as those used for the Renter's Agreement and Point of Contact information solicitation. In that email, or one related, I would want to use such a widget/URL to get Guest input on preferred language which would set the appropriate Tag, in this case the Language Tag.
Hope my idea is not to much off the edge!
