We have multiple properties that service both short term renters (vacation stays <7 days) and then mid-term furnished monthly stays. Right now, there's seemingly no way to set payment terms and/or easily track financial transactions for reservations that are multi-month stays such that payment due dates are at the 1st of each month, for example, and sends a reminder to the guest and then logs that payment as being due or paid via the OwnerRez financial reporting and the syncing that I'm doing with ZohoBooks. I'm pretty much only boxed in to the "down payment" and "2nd payment" settings for any given reservation, which don't really fit the model of mid-term monthly renters.
In summary, I'd love to see a way for payment terms and tracking to be more suitable for multi-month renters.
