Repeat Guest Tag Automation

I would love a way for the Tag Automation feature to have a way to tag repeat guests. This should be simple to do by having a workflow to select bookings of 2 or more. I like to acknowledge repeat guests, offer promos, etc. so having this feature would be incredibly useful.

I would also like this feature to include a way to automatically apply a discount to a booking if the "Repeat Guest" tag is on.

I agree that the ability for OR to auto tag repeat guests would be a great addition. Any possibility of this?

Likewise, is there something that I'm missing in terms of OR recognizing repeat guests? This rarely seems to happen.

This guest record is identical, not even Daniel vs Dan.

I blocked guest info for privacy, but phone and address were entered identically as well. Everything matches exactly.

To the best of my knowledge, OwnerRez does the best it can to automatically merge guest records based on what information is available at the time of creation. We'd like to take a closer look and see why that didn't happen for your guest Dan there.

v2 of Tag Automations dropped in today's release!

You can now apply conditions to Triggers and Tag Automations for the following:

  • Review left (No Review, star count, etc.)
  • Door lock code (Code Not Generated, Code Failed to Generate, Code Generated Successfully)
  • Optional surcharges
  • Discounts
  • Check-In Time (is standard/non-standard)
  • Check-Out Time (is standard/non-standard)
  • Repeat/Return Guest (previous bookings at the same property, or not)
