The new Requirements section on Booking Overview (My Stay, July 1 release) shows "Not Met" permanently on channel-integrated bookings. For hosts who intentionally don't send the My Stay portal to Airbnb/Vrbo guests (the platform already handles identity, payment, and terms via House Rules), these rows can never be satisfied:
- "Confirm Contact Info" — channel bookings arrive with masked emails, so this stays unconfirmed forever unless we push guests to a second portal, which we deliberately don't.
- "Visit Guest Portal" — same; the link is never sent to channel guests.
- "Sign Rental Agreement" — this row appears on Airbnb API bookings even though our rental agreement's Criteria are set to Listing Sites = Only "My Website" [single Enabled agreement in the account, Criteria = Listing Sites: Only 'My Website', unchanged for ~8 months; the only other agreement is a disabled template, also My Website-only.]. The My Stay support article states: "if a rental agreement isn't needed, it won't appear in the Requirements section of the Booking Overview or on the My Stay guest portal" — yet it does. So either the card isn't honoring agreement criteria, or criteria don't control requirement applicability at all. Either way, there is currently no way to make this row reflect reality on channel bookings.
Net result: every channel booking carries a red "Not Met" badge that means "working as intended." That's alarm fatigue — we stop trusting the badge, which destroys its value on direct bookings where it genuinely matters (unsigned agreement, unpaid deposit).
Request, in order of preference:
1. Make every requirement row honor applicability criteria by listing site. Rental agreements already have Criteria — they should flow through to this card — and contact confirmation / portal visit need equivalent criteria or a per-channel setting.
2. When no requirements apply to a booking, hide the card entirely or show N/A instead of Not Met.
3. At minimum, fix the badge semantics: N/A rather than red "Not Met" when the only outstanding items are contact confirmation and portal visit on a channel-integrated booking.
