Will we be able to use triggers to create tasks in the future?

Hi Renee,

Could I ask you to give us a little more detail on how you foresee this working for you?

I'm having a little trouble envisioning a use case for this. Maybe something like if you have a trigger for no Rental Agreement signed that has to fire, Rezzy creates a task for you to follow up with that user?

Let me know, please!

Actually it's probably a bit more complex than what you would provide but I've been thinking of a work around.

I have "2" properties, one is our rental home, the other is our rental car. I would love when someone books the house, to create a task to follow up x days before arrival to confirm they have a car rental. I do this manually now but to have an actual task especially when it's busy would be great.

Ideally I'd love to say something to the effect of: If the house is reserved but the car is not for the same timeframe, create a task. b/c sometimes ppl will go ahead and book the car with the house. But having a reminder task to confirm works for me.

I also ask for people's travel information x days before arrival, especially if they're renting the car b/c we need to know where to leave the car for incoming guests. I need that info b/f the automated email to my staff is sent and sometimes I don't get it so they get an empty email. Having a task for their travel info when their booking is created would be great.

Those are 2 examples I can think of that would be super helpful.

Thanks for your consideration!

Yes, this would be great!   I want a Booking to come in and it creates a TASK that a human would follow up with like "Reach out and thank guest verbally for staying with us and find out if they need anything special".  Tracking that in TASK would be great.
