I would like a trigger where I can automatically message a guest when their card fails through a channel. There are unfortunately lots of times a card will decline when they book through VRBO specifically. Since VRBO runs for their commission first, then the reservation amount, it will flag it as fraud.
There are three system messages that automatically send when payments fail, shown in the screenshot below. These will work for your Vrbo bookings with failed payments as well.
You can see these in your account by navigating to Settings > Messaging > System Messages. You can view/use the default message, change the default message, or create your own template to be sent when one of these payments fails.
