April brought along many more things: granularity to scheduled triggers, Tasks for Teams, Ask Rezzy now in-app, the redesign of the Rental Agreement guest form, Announcements revamp, simplified Taxes, and much more! Automatic Booking Expenses
3 weeks agoHi OwnerRez,
Hoping I could send in an automatic expense request -
We’d like the ability to create recurring booking expenses automatically for every reservation, without requiring a guest surcharge. Examples include welcome gift bags, inspection fees, owner gifts, linen replenishment, and standard consumables. The expense should automatically populate the booking and owner statement while remainin...

Create Recurring Seasons Based On Weekends Or Months
1 year agoHi there,
I once used a booking platform that had a very advanced feature to set up seasons and more specifically - recurring seasons. This site would allow owners to program recurring seasons (including nightly minimums, rates, rules, etc.) all based on weekends and months.
As of now, you can only program recurring seasons in Owner Rez by entering the exact month and day for the season to be repea...

Ed T in response to: Integration With STR TV
2 months agoSeems pricey. Especially considering they can embed their own advertising within the listing material. It wasn't that long ago I jettisoned cable to help reduce recurring expenses. I have 8 properties; for $2k/year, I'll stick with my welcome books and sign on the refrigerator telling the guest how to log onto the internet. -

Sounds like what you're looking for is Recurring Expenses which we have planned for our 2026 development roadmap. You can find the related Feature Request for this and follow along for updates on it here -

Edward G in response to: PM - Automated Expenses
1 year agoWhat you just described is the current way that OR works and not what this thread is about. Agreed, this would also help for recurring expenses like landscaping, tech, etc.
What you sent along does not work for many business models. I don't collect the cleaning fee and keep it. I charge a cleaning fee per reservation. It is not always the same as the cleaning fee charged to the guest. All income is re...

We do have Automated Expenses on our roadmap which would help in this area. You can follow this Feature Request for updates:
There's no ETA I can provide on Automated Expenses at this time, but it is very much on the dev roadmap.

Tammie M in response to: PM - Automated Expenses
5 months agoHi Justin
I totally agree as we have many recurring expenses as well. I've been using the upload document for most of them and just upload that monthly. I have one that I keep for the main expenses that do not change and one for my flexible amounts and that's been working ok for now. Helps me get through it quicker and makes it so I don't forget any of them like I would when entering individually. It's...

Bri in response to: Reoccuring Expenses
1 year agoHey Justin,
The main thread to follow on this topic is
Please follow that thread for updates! We're hoping for late Q2 / Q3, but that is subject to change depending on what else surfaces in the time between that needs more pressing attention at a company level.

Bri in response to: PM - Automated Expenses
1 year agoThe roadmap is subject to change, and we are working hard to release new features that not only meet but exceed expectations with future updates. As of now, we do have plans to get Recurring Expenses in development by Q2 or Q3 of this year. -
Bri in response to: PM - Automated Expenses
1 year agoHi, everyone!
We've been hard at work fine tuning PMv2, among other big ticket features and upgrades across the entirety of the system. We sincerely hope to get recurring expenses into testing before Q4 this year. I won't make any promises at this time, but I will say that I'm personally feeling very optimistic about it.
Rest assured that the Product team is aware of the demand for this request, an...

Bri in response to: PM - Automated Expenses
1 year agoHi Peter,
The most recent update is what I shared on June 12th above. I'll pin that reply in this thread so it floats to the top.
Once we know Recurring Expenses is moving into development, we will share the news here. There's no definitive timeline that I could provide at this time.

Justin L in response to: PM - Automated Expenses
1 year agoI posted the Recurring Expenses feature request in the FB group and got some traction. We can’t control their dev timeline, but voting is the one lever we do have, let’s blow this one up so it gets prioritized. -

We are finalizing changes to our PMv2 model, which is going to lay the groundwork that will allow us to do Recurring Expenses!
