Rezzy: Auto-pause its own responses when it escalates a thread to a human
Right now, once a conversation turns negative or a guest repeatedly pushes back on replies, Rezzy keeps right on responding -- and every extra automated reply just makes the situation worse. The only way to actually stop it is for a team member to notice the thread and manually set Pause Responses to Indefinitely, and by then Rezzy has usually already gone a few rounds with an irritated guest.
Recently a guest got frustrated about a pet fee (the fee was right, but Airbnb tacks its taxes on top and he wasn't happy about it). He pushed back a few times asking for a flat charge instead, and Rezzy re-explained the same thing on every message (doubling and then tripling down) right up until the guest asked for a human. I've updated a directive to hopefully get Rezzy to quit quicker than that in future, but there is no way to automate the toggle to pause Rezzy replies indefinitely. Should the guest continue to send messages, even after Rezzy's created the escalation task for a human to jump in, it would continue to respond until a team member hits the pause button manually.
When Rezzy decides a conversation needs a human -- negative sentiment, a guest asking for a person, or the same question being repeatedly asked after Rezzy already answered -- please can we have it automatically pause its own responses on that thread indefinitely (until a team member turns them back on)? Rezzy can already create a task and flag us, but without a pause, it just keeps talking to the guest while it waits for human involvement.
