When I create a quote or examine any booking, so that I can analyze my prices, I need to see under Charges what the rent is being charged per each night, not just the total.
Why OwnerRez doesn't show this to us is a huge mystery. In any other business, the business owner can see tabulated in their invoices or billings what the charges are for each item and inspect them to ensure that they are correct before providing the invoice or bill to the customer. It needs to be the same with us businesses relying on OwnerRez for our billings.
The excuse from OwnerRez for not letting us see this breakdown under Charges is that we can go to see those under Nightly Rates. But that is an extra step that makes no sense for us to have to go through, and it creates a lot more work for engaging in further analysis of our prices and totals.
I just discovered that a particular quote that I was working on had a different total than when I added up the price of each night under Nightly Rates. With the help of Rezzy, I learned that a discount I had created, and that should have been applied only by a guest entering in a code for it, was being applied, and it wasn't even showing under Charges. Rezzy flagged this for me as a bug to bring up to OwnerRez engineers, but if those prices were broken down under Charges, I could have caught the discrepancy immediately instead of having to navigate around and back and forth from tab to tab in my browser.
