OwnerRez please add this feature!!! Guests frequently ask for a receipt showing payment in full and all OR users would benefit from this simple feature.
After posting, I realized the print to PDF function actually works sufficiently for what I need... At least in Chrome. I imagine other browsers may function differently. A formal invoice with my branding/company name would still be great, but I think this will do the trick...

To send a receipt to your guests you can find this by going under "Transactions", locate the payment/s that were processed, click the down arrow to edit, click "open in a new tab", click the "email receipt" tab. However, it would be helpful if the email receipt tab would by directly under charges or transactions as a top header tab.

Please OwnerRez make this a function! I am getting requests for this as well! Unfortunately, the resolution posted isn't great for me because the guest added an extra night. They are wanting one invoice for the stay! UGH!!!
Seems like so much push-back from OR - why? I often have guests who would like to see an invoice that shows their dates are correct, the amount they were charged and paid. If that is already available - please tell me where it is so I can simply print it. If that is not available, can you tell me the best way to put that together on OR myself? I use OwnerRez becuase it has a lot of moving parts so it seems unlikely that something so simple would not be available. I know personally, I don't 'vote' for everything I need but my money says hosts would definately appreciate being able to do this. Please point me in the right direction if this is an easy thing to do already. Thanks! Lisa
I ended up making a Microsoft Word template with my logo, etc. and then I copy/paste the receipt info and guest info.
I really think this feature would not be hard to make available as all the data is there. Email receipts do not give the full picture and are not always satisfactory. Let alone unprofessional.
Hi there - yes same for me. I had a guest change their dates, resulting in rate changes, so I'm looking for a way to simply email them with the new breakdown of charges. I don't see any way to do that. I didn't do it in the Change booking screen because the New charges were not reflecting what me and the guest agreed on, so I wanted to just send the date change update and then manually go in and change the charges. Other than taking a screenshot, I'm not seeing how to send the new charge breakdown to the guest.
Simply make the changes to the dates on the booking, and then change the charges manually on the booking. Then use the payment request template to email the guest. It will bring up an email that says ‘Here are the details of your reservation’ with all of the correct information in place. Modify as needed and send the message on its way.
Or have I missed something?

Sadly though I do get guests coming back asking for a PDF version which I obviously can't supply. I just tell them to go to print in their email programme and save to PDF. Not ideal but better than nothing.
I have a footer on all our emails with all our company details including company number, registered business address and VAT number. On the header of our emails I have our company logo so at least when the guests do print to PDF it looks a bit like an invoice.
