...creens. This should reduce a lot of confusion in changing owners while also leading users down a path of success.

The last big enhancement is kind of a nerdy one and might fall under the "dev ops" stuff we don't talk about publicly. However, we decided to mention it here because it might lead to some changes you see in the user interface. We've been cleaning up our dates and time zone logic to cor...

...things are working, but one issue is driving my client crazy. When I send out canned messages from OwnerRez, it shows on Airbnb as coming from the owner.  Welcome message, directions, etc., all this stuff shows as coming from the owner of the Airbnb account, which is my client.  Also, if I reply to someone using the CRM, it also shows as coming from her.  She hates this, she wants messages from me to...

...Let's sayyou use our calendar import to automatically import your Airbnb bookings. Because Airbnb doesn'tshare the guest's real email address, youneed to ask the guest for that (and probably other stuff) so that you can manually "clean up" the booking and keep your records up to date.

Previously, you had to remember to manually email Airbnb guests and ask for information online. Now, OwnerRez will...

Yep, that's the best way to do that for now. We've got some ideas about how to make more general event blocks for stuff like this or general prep time rules on the todo list.

I have a similar issue that this or a similar solution might work for...However, I use PriceLabs to handle pricing so that may be a nonstarter here, depending on how this stuff feeds to the different channels (especially Airbnb).

I am trying to prohibit check in/out on Saturdays...my new cleaner wants one day off per week...Plus I'd prefer if guests didn't split my weekends.

...booking for this Friday. Went today to see why I haven't received a signed rental agreement and discovered my email was never sent even though it is set up as a trigger. Went reading through the help stuff and saw this

"If you are using an API connection to Airbnb, TripAdvisor, CanadaStays, or Booking.com - the API connection will not give you the guest's real email address. They only give you a fa...

Is there a way to add a Privacy Notice to this? There is none on the dropdowns or the bottom. Granted, I did not spend much time on this yet, but not grasp how to add that "bottom" of the site stuff such as Privacy Notice, Terms & Conditions, etc.

Do you have a stub for a VR privacy notice? Although I expect few Europeans, the GDPR does cause one to sit up and take notice. As if California wa...

every time I read the "best cities" type of stuff, I chuckle. Who TH will buy in Cleveland as a VR? People are fleeing big cities in droves for a number of reasons. And several places on the list I have never even head of.. and probably neither did the tourists.
Climate emergency? it is mostly called "weather". On the other hand, they should get busy stopping CHINA, not Oregon, from polluting, if the...

...t will come back to OwnerRez.

We have a long-planned update coming (no ETA) to unify the messaging around the guest conversation and provide 2 way email there along with your other SMS and channel stuff. The inquiry records will come into there as well.

That actually exists already, though it's a bit buried. Go to the property > calendar import > click the calendar import (VRBO or Air) and then click the Sync Now button. To be clear, this is only for pulling stuff INTO OwnerRez, not pushing out to other sites.

No movement yet - sorry. We're hot on a bunch of other stuff right now like channels, QB, SMS and TI. Channels are 75% of it. Lots of small tweaks and adjustments as well. We do about 3-4 minor releases every *week* around here. 😜

Lydia - I've done the same but only $100. I guess I'm self-insuring on this stuff and not worrying too much about it. Thanks for clarifying that this insurance is for owners ;-)

That's... brilliant. Insane, but brilliant. :-0

Now I need to go somewhere quiet for a bit and ponder the meaning of life. :-)

We're planning on upgrading the triggers so you won't have to do screwy stuff like this. But for now that's not actually a bad scheme. Might potentially cause some confusion with your API connections if you have any.

...have 1 page to go to that I can see all unit's availability AND do a quote without having to navigate all over. Just a suggestion since personal devices are being used more now than computers to buy stuff online. It makes it a lot easier for the traveler as well to have just one page to see and use. Just add it to my wish list!! Thanks! :-)

I've also had weird stuff with air bnb conversations. 2 seperate enquiries from the same person for different properties. One enquiry appears voided but the conversation link takes me to the active enquiry. I have emailed support with more in depth details.

For me it is that I can't see the entire list of properties on one screen because it scrolls under the owner Rez header. I would like to be able to shrink the screen to fit on one 'screenshot'. There is plenty of computer screen, just don't have ability to look at just the calendar without the owner Rez stuff.

Agree with Blue about the questionable value of these pricing engines. If you manually adjust for holidays, weekends and recency (eg. way far out or way close) with stuff going up and down accordingly, you don't need the dynamic engines. I thought they were based on supply at one time (eg. PriceLabs would actually crawl sites and see what dates are taken) but that's not the case. They are just going up...

...ort we have in OwnerRez, others go by QuickBooks. It depends on the level of data you have in each. If you fill OwnerRez with all of the data we can give a better report with vacation rental specific stuff like # of nights booked, perhaps rent vs. different non taxable items etc. This is actually our main focus area for development right now -- getting the numbers correct in OwnerRez and then being abl...
