Create quotes (or check rates) quickly right from the ribbon!
9 years ago...me you look at your ribbon calendar, you'll notice that a little green button appears as you hover over the empty cells.
Give that a little click, and bam - up pops a quick quote box witha bunch of stuff prefilled for you including the rates and any rules or warnings that might prevent the guest from booking.
You can edit the quick quote and instantly see the rate and rules change.
Just hit the E...

Calendar not showing new bookings?
14 years ago...efresh, you should not need to do this ever again.
Also in this release, a number of email changes were made that will be explained later by Sam. If you click on the Email menu, you'll see the new stuff. We went ahead and released the email changes as well since they were ready to go out.

New Channel Rate Tester, rate table options, Channel Bridge clarity & only bookings on CanadaStays iCal
6 years ago...🐪 Although, I'm getting this out late, so it's probably already past Hump Day for our European and Asian users.
Last week, we mostly worked on major updates that aren't quite finished - long term stuff - but there were a few things that went out, so let's take a second to go over them...
* New Features
* Enhancements & Tweaks
* Bug Fixes New FeaturesThere is now a Channel Rate Tester tool (...

Quick Quote enhancements, event triggers, trigger criteria, Blocked-Off Time messages, 'available property' field codes & more
9 years ago...rd Party Alerts will continue to work as they do now, and we will make sure to cleanly migrate the existing ones to trigger events in future months, but you can already start crafting your own custom stuff using trigger events now.
Available PropertyFieldCodes

alexa in response to: Step towards unified email inbox
5 months agoReally wish this was more of a priority other than fixing stuff that’s not broke. Did we really need a redesign over crucial functionality? -
Customize the daily checklist?
4 years agoI would love to start putting the daily checklist and date range checklist to better use, but there is so much extra stuff on there that we don't need. Such as owner name, cleaning date, guest email, etc. Could these columns be checkboxes when we run the report, similar to tags and custom fields, and we could uncheck them if we don't want the info? -
verified email
4 years agoI just went through all the steps and spoke to Namecheap and they got all my DNS stuff connected, etc. Everything is showing good.
So.... do I change my email to my business email now? Or do I leave everything in my account as my @gmail.com?
I guess I'm just a little confused how everything needs to be set up.
Thanks!!

Chris Hynes in response to: Min night stay per Season
9 years ago...m nights and minimum holiday nights. Since you have blank in holiday nights, and President's day is that weekend, it's picking up the holiday blank and overriding the normal minimum.
All logical and stuff from a computers point of view, but it doesn't make much sense in the real world.
I've got a fix going in with our new prorate engine to make the min holiday nights be same or greater than minimum n...

Jake & Andrea in response to: Allow exceptions to gap night and minimum or maximum night rules on specific dates bases
3 years agoPriceLabs has a feature to dynamically adjust your night gaps based on criteria you set.
Don't get it for that feature alone, the dynamic pricing and market pricing info will pay for itself in spades. The gap management and other stuff is icing on the cake.

April in MB in response to: VRBO Commission Fee For More Accurate Reporting
3 years agoSurely there’s some way we could turn on a fee calculation that auto populates for VRBO bookings. This repetitive manual stuff is so 2010. -
Paul W in response to: OwnerRez App
6 years ago@Chris: You're right about certain things like push notifications or camera integration (for cleaning checklists) though camera stuff can actually be done with regular web app. To bridge the gap on push notifications, we've kicked around the idea of having System Alerts go from email to text (or both) so that you get a text message instantly for certain things. That would help and make it so we didn'... -
Paul W in response to: Airbnb Makes It Harder To Email Guests, Adds Last Min. Discount, Expedia Dumping HomeAway & Officially Going "Vrbo" Everywhere
6 years ago...pumped out of the factory right now.
EDIT: Maybe you knew about that and you're referring to deeper integration - like automating triggers for that. Very high on our To Do list. we have some great stuff dropping in the next couple weeks but unified inbox, SMS and website changes are very much front and center.

Chris L in response to: Airbnb Messages Inbox, seeing owners, merging cancelled bookings, channel amenities for cleaning
6 years agoYep—I’d love to see triggers for Airbnb messages. A lot of the stuff I email to the proxy now (checkout reminders and instructions, etc.) is better suited to the Airbnb message stream. Hope that’s coming soon! -
BlueMtnCabins in response to: Anyone using RedAwning
6 years ago...gement-third-party-middle-channel-managers
I think the only channel that will matter (that Ownerrez does not already have) will be Google vacation rentals (or they fall under hotels?). All the other stuff is either redundant or fluff with no added value. -
Paul W in response to: Streaming Content for guests?
6 years ago...They get 150/month per property flat regardless of cleaning for doing the above. The better cleaners value this position. They have 3 or 4 properties on the same street so they can group the above stuff together - easy money. Most of them are married and both husband and wife and maybe a grown child or two helps as part of the "team" so one person isn't doing it all all the time.
It helps to have...

Jacques L in response to: Streaming Content for guests?
6 years ago...ssociate Hulu with a cheap, possibly failing version of Netflix. Would totally have picked a streaming service that was called "Streaming Cable TV" or something that made it seem like it had all the stuff that cable people like. -
JTVRs in response to: Getting "double title" effect in hosted website
7 years agoGood, but that was one of nine property pages. The others are the same. I just couldn't figure out where to put that line. Is there a way to directly update stuff like that or the HTML on a hosted website without getting crazy?
Where did you put it? -
Paul W in response to: sent guest email / guest responded / responded email not showing up in OwnerRez
7 years ago...guest replies, their reply goes back to you directly, not to OwnerRez. We do this on purpose to keep the communication between you and the guest. We have designed and worked on some "Unified Inbox" stuff but it's been back burner'd several times. It's a major undertaking and not necessary for a lot of users. It's something that needs a lot of work to really get right and be useful, otherwise it jus... -
Chris Hynes in response to: Triggered payment reminder when payment due is 0
9 years ago...pays in full. They can't do that without your interaction, so you'll always have a decision point of "guest wants to pay in full... let me charge them and then go skip the reminder email".
We've got stuff in the works for making the skip auto -- eventually you'll be able to go into the trigger and do something like add criteria of "only send if amount due > 0" so that it is date and rules based, but w...
