If you configure a form header/footer in Settings > Theming, that will be applied to the standalone form as well as to quote and booking forms.
Is there any way to add a little flair (like a background image ) to a standalone booking/inquiry widget , When you click a link https://app.ownerrez.com/widgets/e399cb8eee834729ac9a35de4cfb89dc?view=form&propertyKey=0a4808a7e8e943e489771b0d3076751a the form opens bu looks very generic. Is there a place to customize the header so that it applies only to a standalone (not embedded) form? Thanks
I'm a bit lost in auto email functions. I have a guest getting send security deposit requests and he does not need it. How do I turn it off?
If you want to charge other fees, you'd add them as surcharges in OwnerRez and put them in the same charges grid on the booking. The {BCTAB} field will pick up whatever you put there.
Are there 9 different due dates in your process, one for each type of fee, due separately? The built in amounts and dates you already found for first and second payments. You could add additional custom fields if you have additional due dates.
Travel insurance is handled separately and charged directly by TravelGuard. The guest will get a receipt email and policy notification from them.
That only show rent and tax.
How do I get all the other items I need to show?
Advanced Rent/Due Date,
Rent Balance/Due Date,
Reservation Fee/Due Date,
Trip Ins/Due Date,
Taxes/Due Date,
Cleaning Fee/Due Date,
Other Fees/Due Date,
Pet fee/Due Date,
Listing Site Booking Fee/Due Date.
Again, thank you. You all are the best!
Here's one: https://redsedona.com/privacy-policy/
TBH I don't think Converge actually reads the policy they just check to make sure it exists.
Chris,
Thank you for the quick response.
After clicking to the next and next questions on that site I'm going to give up. I can't begin to answer them all; too technical.
I will try to figure something else out.
If you know of anyone else that is using Converge then maybe I could look at their site and see what they wrote.
Again, thank you.
I am trying to put together a Privacy Policy for my website because the gateway site (Converge) is requiring I put a Privacy Policy on there. They also recommended I go to www.freeprivacypolicy.com to create my own Privacy Policy.
One of the questions they are asking is if my site has cookies. I have NO idea!
Any help is appreciated.
Is that basically the list of charges you're looking for? If so, the best way is to insert the entire list via the following field:
{BCTAB}
What do you use to add an automated field for your RA that isn't in the list?
I need to have the North Carolina Agreement show Advanced Rent/Due Date, Rent Balance/Due Date, Reservation Fee/Due Date, Trip Ins/Due Date, Taxes/Due Date, Cleaning Fee/Due Date, Other Fees/Due Date, Pet fee/Due Date, Listing Site Booking Fee/Due Date.
I have found the {BFPAMT} for advance rent, for security:{BSDAMT}, for rent balance: {BSPAMT} & {BSPDATE}. Tax: {BTTAX} Total: {BTAMT}. But I am missing the others and don't see how to fill these in? Help please.
That's also possible as seasons can be specific to properties. Create one more Summer season, and use one for the week long property and one for the 2 night property. Tip: name the two Summer's slightly different so you can tell which is which ;-)
Use the specific properties criteria in the season settings to associate one Summer season with one property. Then go over to the Rates section and make sure the rates are also configured to the proper season and property -- they have to match both property and season to apply.
Hmmm
If I understand this. If I change the summer season to only allow Friday arrival and Friday departure, this applies to all properties in the system. I need to be able to do this on a property by property basis. One of my properties only allows week long stays during this time, the other allows 2 night stays.
One of my properties has arrival and departure restrictions from June 1 to mid August. However, Ownerrez seems to make these restrictions global for the property. Is there a way to change this restriction based on seasonallity?
and it also showed me that I have many 'abandoned carts'. :-(
Thanks!
Is there a way to automate legal agreements to be sent additional times if not filled out?
Also, where do I see responses to the additional fields I've made mandatory in my agreement?
I may be having a senior moment.. can someone who did it post a step by step tutorial? TIA
The VRBO feeds look to be up now, after over 24 hours of downtime. Syncs are now working. If you had a sync you disabled during this period, you can now re-enable it.
We'll keep monitoring the situation to make sure they are solidly up and report back here with any changes.
Yes noticed that when tried to sync new VRBO booking
We've noticed some intermittent issues with HA/VRBO iCal feeds over the past couple of days. This morning around 1AM all HA/VRBO calendars started returning HTTP ERROR 500 instead of a valid iCal feed. The main HA/VRBO site is still up, but calendar feeds are broken. You can check this by going into HA/VRBO and copying the iCal link into your browser -- you'll get an error message like the one below.
This is affecting not just OwnerRez but everyone using iCal with HA/VRBO.
We're monitoring the situation and will update as we have more info. In the meantime, we recommend manually creating the booking in OwnerRez if you get one from HA/VRBO so that all of your other calendars update correctly from OwnerRez.
If you do see your iCal from VRBO working, let us know.
Tonadjust channel settings -do u have to have PM module ir channel manager for that?
You can't turn off the rate push -- booking.com forces it on the connection, actually.
Instead, we've got a rate adjuster on the channel settings so you can +20% and that'll be applied to your rates as they're pushed across.
Thank you for yhe update, i guess i will wait for integration to try. Is there an option NOT to push rates and set them in booking instead? I want rates there higher than on my own site. Tx
Yep, there's now a dashboard where you can enter and manage the property and rates, and they support iCal sync.
We're actually working on direct booking.com integration right now, which will be released in the next week or two. That will let you push rates to booking.com and get reservations into OwnerRez automatically, with cards on file and scheduled payments etc.
I put a few of my properties on booking.com already and have had a good experience so far. The key thing is to make sure to set strict policies, particularly a hefty cancellation fee, requiring address and phone, and requiring credit card and cvv to book.
