Schlage released their newest wifi keypad lock called Arrive, which has all the benefits of Encode but with physical push-buttons instead of the flat touchscreen. Unfortunately OR limits their Schlage integration only to their older Encode models.
Please add Schlage's newest release, Arrive, to the lock integration. Ideally any new wifi lock they release should be automatically integrated in, otherwise you are forcing clients to use Schlage's older models rather than their latest offering. Seems silly that I was told to make a Feature Request for this, but alas here I am...
If Schlage adds the Arrive to their API I am sure we would gladly add support for it. However, per Schlage's documentation, the Arrive is not currently a supported device in their API.
From Schlage's site:
https://schlage-res.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/38277411142548-What-Smart-Locks-Are-Compatible-With-the-Schlage-Home-App
The Schlage Home App (Schlage’s mobile app ecosystem) supports these locks:
Schlage Arrive (BE459)
Schlage Encode (BE489)
Schlage Encode Plus (BE499)
Schlage Encode Lever (FE789)
Schlage Sense (BE479) (noted as discontinued)
Schlage Residential
Meanwhile, the Schlage Home API v2 (as part of the Allegion Developer Portal) specifically supports Wi-Fi-enabled Schlage locks:
https://developer.allegion.com/en/products/schlage-home/best-practices.html
The Schlage Home API only supports WiFi-enabled devices: Schlage Encode Deadbolt, Encode Plus, and Encode Levers.
I would recommend sending a request to Schlage directly. The more customers they hear from, perhaps the quicker they will add support:

I emailed Schlage earlier this week as well. But I wish that had been conveyed when I emailed OR support rather than being instructed to write up a Feature Request for it.
I'll address this with the Support and Documentation teams, Alece. Sorry to have sent you this way.
What Steve said here was actually news to me as well. We'll see what we can do to improve on these processes moving forward.
Bri / Steve --
I'm running into a roadblock with trying to communicate this request to Schlage as their standard support team knows nothing about the API (or even what it is I'm talking about, despite the links I've sent). The API link you shared above states, "Please contact your Allegion representative for any additional questions." I'm assuming y'all have a rep for your API integration as it says. Is reaching out to them something y'all would be willing to do on behalf of your users?
Again, their documentation states, "The Schlage Home API only supports WiFi-enabled devices" and then goes on to list only their Encode models. The request is for them to add their newest WiFi-enabled device, Arrive, to the API.
I would certainly appreciate any help y'all can lend in communicating this to your Allegion/Schlage representative!
Hi Alece,
I will forward this request to our developer that created the connection we do use currently. He would have the best contacts there at Allegion/Schlage.
Will let you know what we find out!
Thank you, Steve!!
Hey Alece,
Our senior devs reached out to Schlage, but they've informed us that the Arrive Smart Wi-Fi Deadbolt devices will not be supported by the Schlage Home API Platform.
We've asked them to keep us in the loop if that ever changes as we've been receiving questions from our userbase. If they ever start supporting Arrive devices on the API, we will absolutely take a look at including those. I'm afraid it's just not possible at this time.
Thank you for reaching out to them and reporting back!
