Currently, surcharges can’t be tied to the selected payment method, which means owners either have to absorb the fees or apply them to all guests—many of whom use fee-free methods like ACH, Venmo, Zelle or checks. Neither option feels fair or efficient.
Please consider adding functionality that allows surcharges to be conditionally triggered based on payment type at checkout. This would align better with how many other platforms handle processing fees and help small hosts stay sustainable.

It's becoming common in service industries and even some stores will charge a %fee if you pay by credit card
