I'd love to see a feature that shows me which main photos have the highest number of booking conversions. I'd also love to see what the "headline description" was at the time of booking.
Being able to sort or filter these results by season or months would be helpful too. For example, maybe I find out that an indoor photo of our fireplace performs better during the winter season but not as well during the Fall because there was an unexpected heat wave that month.

I'm aware of Google Map capabilities, but OZ creates one map and automatically adds every new property that is added in the backend, whereas to create the map in Google, I'd have to go in and update each one of my new properties on it, It feels like double work to me. OZ already has this option on their hosted websites.
I'm not sure what the purpose would be? The usual map systems, like Google Maps, make it easy to embed their map in your site, so we'd just be duplicating their efforts.

It would be great to have a map widget like you have available on the hosted OR website, available for Wordpress or other sites.
ie: https://blu-sky-villa-1.hosted.ownerrez.com/map
Costs related to OTA bookings vary as do the expenses we incur as a property manager.
I would like OR to consider adding capability to have different commission rates based on listing site.
Currently on the owner screen we set the commission.
This request would be that on that commission screen having the ability to add multiple commission rates based on listing site.
Thank you
.
Perfect, thank you
If you've followed the instructions in the article Ken linked above, that should be all you need to do to setup the requirement. Testing is best done by going into a booking, to the legal tab, then when you click to request an e-signature, the pop up gives you an option to preview. Once the agreement opens, scroll to the very bottom of the first page to see the ID upload section.

Hi,
I suggest to add a new column in the departure report for next arrival date, cause it will help to see which property have to be cleaned first. In my company, those apartments with check-out and checkin same day are our priority for cleanings, after they are cleaned we start to clean those apartments that have next arrival in next days.
Also when you check only departures in a report, the report comes with arrivals dates also and that columns are useless and confusing when you have many departures to follow... so better to erase those columns and only let what i check (only departures, no arrivals, no stayings).
Unfortunately, there is not, and at present we don't have any plans to add such a function, because of the privacy implications.
I am considering building a property sharing site for my area, but don't really have a good feel for how many users of OR I have in my area to know if this would be worthwhile. Is there some way to search for owners in my area using OR so that we might build a network?
This is doable via CSS, if you navigate via Settings > Hosted Websites > Website in Question > Theme & Layout > CSS you can either paste code provided to you or your own in this section to modify many features of the hosted website service.
For this request you could paste the following into the aforementioned section, change the border-width value to control the size of that dropdown button. Do note 4px is the default size, but you can change it to 6px or even 8px to double its size.
li.dropdown.header-links-menu .caret { border-width: 4px; }
I’m with you on this!! I’d also love to embed a little survey question on the thank you page (I use Airtable forms) asking guests their top reason for choosing our rental for their stay. (Eg. Quality photos, a specific amenity they need, location, our commitment to enviro & social responsibility, referral by a friend, or other)
OR - I’ve also wondered why guests are being told to write their reso # down because aren’t they getting it sent to them in an email right away? Could you just change that part on the thank you page now for us all?
Since Airbnb has been constantly changing their search criteria every year and each time restricting our ability even more to fine tune our own marketing, we need this feature more than every, in order to try to take advantage of the other channels that are more favorable to small owners and that allow us more flexibility to run our own business. Thanks, Steve
I have our Display Preferences set so that blocked dates are greyed out on the ribbon view. This, however, does not transfer over to the monthly calendar view, nor is there an option to set it that way. Ideally we should be able to select that same option for the month view as well. I’d like the blocked dates to be grey whether looking at the calendar in ribbon or in month view.
Can the drop down arrow/icon be larger? We have many visitors to our website who decide to call because they struggle to find a better way to search our properties. We have subheadings under the Property heading which will make it easier for guests, but many miss the small arrow.
Do I have to do anything to include it in the rental agreement? I already checked the box for checkout acceptance quote. How do I test it?
I also agree that there should be an easier way to see if a rental agreement has been signed when you look at bookings.
Update: it is feature complete and in testing. That is all I can say at this time ;-)
Any update? :)
Inquiring minds want to know :p
Thank you so much for putting this together, great information!!!
Yes this is an old post. I've since made changes that helped a lot. But i think they'll pay attention or not. No matter what the wording!!!
I would like to be able to add or remove columns in list view (show door code in a column, etc.)
Is it possible to only display the Travel Insurance option if they live in locations where the guest can be covered?
For example:
UK
SPAIN
IRELAND
Believe these as not covered and confuses people.
Thanks as always
... to make it sound more like an online check-in.
Do you think that by making it sound like an online check-in, that people will wait until arrival to complete it? I state in my listings that the rental agreement is a requirement and to have it signed w/in 72 hours. No issues in the better part of a year that I've been using agreements.
I am trying to set up a property share for another Ownerrez account I manage. I have made an agreement with an owner to pay me a small percentage for bookings made on my website. When you currently setup a property share the properties that are shared on my website can not be booked on my website, I would like for that to change.
First of all I love the new listing description flexibility and am making the most of its capability.
One small oversight.
Information for the AIRBNB SHORT LISTING TITLE needs to be added to DEFAULT DESCRIPTIONS and then prepopulated into the AIRBNB LISTING TITLE.
Please consider adding that value to the DEFAULT DESCRIPTIONS.
Short Description is there, but not SHORT LISTING TITLE (50 char max)
I have so many airbnb guests call me concerned about the legal agreement email. What if it were fashioned more like an online check in? Where they fill out basic contact info and maybe vehicle type along with whatever else and then check a box that consents to terms...
I think it would be more inviting, less threatening and in turn gain more contact info about the airbnb guests.
UPDATE: I have implemented my own form of this with he language i use on my email template. And so far total success. I'm gathering guests contact info almost every time now and no more worries from the guests. I plan to add more elements but for now the basic email subject saying "online check in" is a win!
Can you share your email language? Do you request it right after booking or X days before check-in?
I initially thought this was needed but it already exists with gestures or keyboard shortcuts.... on mobile devices swipe right from edge of screen on Mac control [ will take you back a screen... it's the same as browser back button or gesture
