Is there an App for my smart phone to access the calendar. That would be a great feature?

We just pushed out an update that shows the listing site on the popover.

The rolling calendar view is a great idea and something we want to do, but that's a bigger rearchitecture -- the calendar right now is built to a single month, so making it roll and redoing a layout to show multiple months is a larger effort.

Go to reports, download daily range. remove unnecessary columns, send to housekeeper. That is what I do.

I think this is a great idea.

If you are going to make changes to the ribbon calendar in the Booking area, I would suggest the view be a rolling 31 days as of Today Date.

This would solve the problem when looking at future availability you don't have to toggle between the months to see dates which cross-over from one month to the next.

This would allow you to add an even to a email triggered. This would allow you to send events via email so that it shows up on a shared google calendar. This would be a great feature to have and further automate cleaning, maintenance, etc...

It would be great if the view we give house keeper showed list view and included our notes and also number of guests. This would allow me to indicate to cleaner if their was an early check in, playpen needed, or anything extra I needed.

This would be very helpful. You can see it for airbnb due to the email showing up but you can't see it for all of them. It would also be great to be able to organize the properties as you see fit. As we like to have our properties that are similar together in case we need to move bookings around.

Interesting approach - I like that the cleaners can log in to see the cleans assigned to them (although this can be accomplished with an iCalendar subscription, too).

If we could make it as frictionless as possible to confirm each clean, that'd be great (e.g. no login, just click the "confirm" link and they're done).

This is a great idea and something we have planned for dev. Basically you would be able to grant portal access accounts to your staff: https://www.ownerrez.com/support/articles/portal-access and then assign bookings to them. Once assigned, they would see a list of bookings to be confirmed on their end.

Ditto. I was just about to send out a promotional email to my past guests and was wondering if there is a coupon code feature to implement on the inquiry/booking form. Has this feature been implemented and I simply can't find it?

For example, I'm offering 10% off for return guests, so would like to create a coupon code that applies 10% off the nightly rate.

Hi,
I set up a trigger to automatically email my cleaner when a new reservation comes in, then he manually replies to my email to confirm. After that, I manually enter the cleaning date in the booking on OwnerRez.

What I'd like to see: the ability for the emails to contain a link that the cleaning company manager can click that will mark the clean as "confirmed" in OwnerRez (e.g. enter the check-out date as the Cleaning Date).

Any chance we can implement something like this?

Yep, it will be an option in future.

And you can apply payments at any time -- they don't have to be scheduled. For payments like checks that are handled outside of OwnerRez, go to the Transactions tab of the booking, click the Payment menu, and do a Record Payment.

Will this be an option in the future? Most of my guests use checks. Is there a way to apply the payments they send me? We have been requiring a 15% deposit and the security fee at the initial booking, then people just send us payments as long as they have everything paid 6 weeks in advance of arrival. Sorry if I’m asking something I haven’t seen yet. I’m on my trial and just setting everything up.

Hi!

You can do that by adding a custom listing site called "Repeat Guest". Go to Settings > Listing Sites & Synced Channels and you can add custom sites there which will show up in the list. Only the name is required when adding a custom site, but you can specify a domain as well if it's relevant.

I am trying to integrate Quickbooks and OwnerRez. I would love to know how you deal with deposits and credit card fees. My deposits are all coming from OwnerRez to Quickbooks as the entire deposit and I'm not sure the best way to enter the credit card fee associated with the deposit. For instance, the deposit is $500 and the credit card transaction fee is $10, the entire $500 is deposited in QB and I need to reduce that deposit by $10. Thanks!

Wow, that's an old one!

So there's way to automatically set up a payment schedule with more than two payments yet. But you can do it manually after the booking has been made if, like Jackie said, it's a credit card booking.

To do that, set up the quote for the first payment. The second payment referred to in the quote will be the final payment for remaining balance due. Then once the booking has been created, go to the Transactions tab and schedule the additional charges.

Hi Jackie, Did you ever receive an answer to this question? I have the same one. A guest wanting to do a payment schedule while I only see a way to allow for 2 payments (the deposit + balance due). Would LOVE to know the solution.

I would say simplified exactly like the widgets were simplified i.e.
Rent $860.00
Tax $109.65
Refundable Damage Deposit $400.00
Total $1,369.65

Right now I'm getting something like the following:

Would love to see the date a booking was made on the Guest overview. The overview would also be a good place to just see, Yes or No, if legals have been archived.

Yep! We added support for that on the autoresponder a month or two ago. To configure, go to the autoresponder settings and pick a "double blind" template (see screenshot). You can use the same one or a different shorter one. That's currently only used for TA, but we'll be expanding it.

Another question about triapdvisor auto responding. is there any way to set up auto responder to reply to 1) guest email directly and 2) via TA dashboard similar to VRBO. Right now it only auto responds to guest private email and I have to log into TA dashboard and respond there to maintain the "response rate". thanks

We don't currently have a way to automatically simplify the quote charge descriptions, but it is on the to do list. You could go and change charges manually and edit the descriptions.

What are you looking for in simplified charges?

How would we get email quotes text to be simplified? For example this is what it says 3 nights (date x - date x) during Winter 2018 at $250 per night
