Great news! Automated Expenses released today!
OwnerRez's Property Management (PM) premium feature already records the Commission, Tax and Damage Protection (if applicable) expenses on every new booking for you. Automated Expenses takes this further by creating owner expenses on their own. They can be tied to related bookings or set to repeat weekly or monthly, so costs like lawn care, cleanings for owner stays or HOA fees are added without anyone entering them by hand.

I totally agree as we have many recurring expenses as well. I've been using the upload document for most of them and just upload that monthly. I have one that I keep for the main expenses that do not change and one for my flexible amounts and that's been working ok for now. Helps me get through it quicker and makes it so I don't forget any of them like I would when entering individually. It's not a fix, but it has been a suitable workaround for me.
Here is out current stop gap solution, built in Lovable. Makes sure we do not miss monthly or yearly expenses. (still manual)

Automated Expenses is in development. This should be released sometime during Q3 2026! A couple of prerequisites are already in testing, so things are moving along nicely.

Now if we can just get expenses clickable from the owner statements when preparing (like the bookings), that would be amazing!
