It would be great to have a another tab/page in the Owner's Portal that would allow us to post messages, alerts, updates, important information that needs to be always accessible, etc. We currently do a newsletter, but once read it's lost in their emails and forgotten.
I fully agree. I have been analysing different systems and Ownerrez offers far the most features and is the most advanced tool but it is missing one very important aspect to make it on e.g. the european market: milti-language!
I have been using the automatic review feature and it is great. However, I am noticing a lot of renters are leaving a review on the day of check out.
Typically, I try to leave a review the same day of check out so that it prompts the renter to leave a review as they are traveling home.
I don't see the option to leave a review on the same day. The automatic review is being left the next day.
Please update the drop down menu to include day 0 as an option for the automatic review.
Thanks!
Glamping Hub Integration
Update as of 12/20/2023
I messaged the CEO to ask for an update and here was his reply:
"Hello Patricia- thanks for checking in and we are getting very close to releasing OwnerRez. It is code complete and will be entering our QA stage next week so we hope to launch a few pilot hosts (of which you can be one of them) by the 2nd week of Jan. You are on our list, and we will notify you when we are ready to kick off the pilot program.
Have a great holiday!

Is there an ETA for this channel to be available?
Just checking when can we expect this feature available?
Every time I look at by bookings page I now have to filter our canceled bookings. I do not want those to show. You guys made a change a while back that automatically included them. I suggest adding a setting to remember how each user wants bookings to display, so we di not have to change this filter each time we come back to the bookings area.
On Houfy there is a feature that shows a potential future guest how much they would pay on Airbnb or VRBO if they booked the same home. Is there a way to integrate this in the booking/inquiry widget? Our website says you’ll save 10-15% by booking direct but I think it’s more powerful if they see a visual with the booking fees in bold.
Hi Amanda:
You can set a photo in a template. For example, in the rental agreement, the box on the right represents where the first house photo will show:
Did something ever get done with this? We send third party alerts to the front desk to let them know when a booking is made but they currently have no way of knowing if it's an owner block or a guest.
This has been released! (We now show the currency next to the payment method description)
Previous to OR, we used to send a Welcome email to guests that included an image of the door smart lock, to familiarize themselves prior to check in.
OR doesn't allow us to attach/embed this image.
Please consider this as a feature enhancement!
Thanks,
Amanda
As a general note in this context we typically recommend the use of tags for potentially common situations like "Bad Guest" or "Don't Rent to this Guest". This helps verify user by user.
Have you looked into using our mailing report that is designed to export CRM data out? Its possible to use this report to import data into MailChimp and update those lists.
~Caleb
Thanks Caleb - this is exactly what I was looking for. Tags show up in all of the places I can think of that I would need to use them (including the CRM edit contact page, they get applied to exports from this page, and are also part of the criteria on the prebuild email list report). So tags are a better solution than custom fields for what I need!
I agree, it would be very nice to have custom fields attached to certain seasons.
I just joined Owner Reservations and the inability to edit the form is so silly and outdated. No one has such a huge number of important numbers anymore. It clutters the form and makes a potential guest not want to continue with the booking process.
Thanks for giving Kens proposed solution a try, currently the system already has the ability to handle basic sub menus for the site menu. This can be done by clicking on the "Menu Layout" button for any given hosted site,
Once on this page you can drag and indent page names under each other to create simple sub menus. I don't believe this satisfies exactly what you're looking for, but I wanted to make sure everyone was aware of it while discussion continued for this feature request.

We would love there to be a way to create an interim owner statement. This way I (the accountant) can create the statements and have them reviewed prior to the owner being able to see them. Right now, we have to disable the owner's access, create the statements, have them reviewed, then enable the owner's access again.
Would love to see under our guest contact a photo of our guest that are booking with us.
This way we can remember their faces each year they book with us
I have tried your proposed solution, but it did not solve our problem. Perhaps I could not express our problem properly the last time. Let me try again:
We do not want to show all the properties directly under the ‘Properties’ nav menu item. Instead, we want to have a sub-menu that contains the locations. Then, each location sub-menu item will have another sub-menu that contains the properties for that location.
Yes please we need help and have to budget for VA or Ai. Need this solution to stay competitive and avoid burn out.
This is my main issue with Owner Res is the fact that when a refund happens, the invoice in QBO is not updated. I would love for better communication to happen when a refund happens on the platforms (especially Airbnb) between Airbnb and OR.
Agreed. Not a fan of the new location.
Hi,
One of the purposes of Zapier is to allow for more actions/integrations than are currently possible strictly within OwnerRez,
For instance if you take a look at this article - https://www.ownerrez.com/support/articles/zapier#zaps
You'll notice there's a lot more different unique actions you can take. The events highlighted in your screenshot are just the starting point for the Zap, once that event occurs an action can be configured to take place, and this is where the power with Zap lies.
As an additional note, if you're new to Zap I'd recommend reading through the following articles:
https://www.ownerrez.com/blog/zapier-use-cases
https://www.ownerrez.com/support/articles/zapier
Zapier also has a learning section of their own worthy of note:

Guests LOVE this feature!
It was a key aspect of my previous management system, and I can not stress enough how much we and our guests miss it since moving to OwnerRez. The secure guest portal also became a single location where the guest could go to get all of the details of their reservation, and the guest arrival information, area maps, and other helpful information that we provide.
The assurance that it provides to guests that they are dealing with a legitimate entity that is safe and trustworthy can't be overstated, especially in an industry conducted primarily online with strangers, and rife with scammers and fraudsters.
More than any other feature, this eliminated guest questions and consumption of our time answering 'stupid' questions.
(Forgive me for the 'poke' but calling OwnerRez 'elite' when it lacks such a fundamental feature for providing excellent guest service, is really not accurate.)
We would like to see a feature that can actively monitoring the health of our listings and send alerts as email or text when certain critical issues are detected. During the past few years, we have noticed that certain listings status with VRBO or Airbnb went into inactive state due to certain actions from VRBO/Airbnb, we didn't notice long after the situation happened with significant booking loss. This is especially helpful when things have gone smoothly for a very long time and we all assume things are going well until things actually have turned south.
Thank you!
Reducing clicks (some call them touch points) is a software design best practice.
I don't see the logic for this move.
Has there been an update on this topic. 1099 report for owners?
I'd like to be able to display search results on a map like the OTAs do. Ideally available as a widget that shows a list of results on the left with the map on the right.
