At this time, It is still planned though we can't provide any ETA.
The agreement if that's possible
Thank you!
It is also important to understand I am only using seasons as a structure...I do not have prices associated with the seasons.
I am not looking to copy rates, just the season shell.
Randy
We are leaving money on the table by not having this option... AND the upsells would sure help us justify any OR price increases if it generates revenue not captured today!
Yeah also would like to see upselling ability during the RA sign
Do you mean the email I send them or the actual agreement?
I use PRICELABS so I am exclusively using spot rates.
I am only using SEASONS to
*enforce minimum day restrictions,
*define seasons to correspond with the PL spot rates
PL on it's own will not enforce SAT to SAT for example, it requires using OR seasons.
So I have 37 properties and while a generic season, JUN-JUL-AUG could be
used to enforce Sat to Sat with 7 night stay for a group of assigned properties
there are always exceptions.
These exceptions are because I set a season for SAT to SAT and I have 20 properties assigned to it.
Then I have many owners who want to block things that do not adhere to Sat to Sat so I created
"exception" seasons.
So it is very time consuming and if I had the ability to simply copy seasons such as
wp1-jun-jul-aug-sat-7-7 (water pointe 1 jun jul aug sat to sat 7 days a week) to
wp1-unit-100-jun-jul-aug-sat-7-7 it would be a great help
I like your idea - do you have a like to see what you have created for your guests to sign? I'd like to do this for our guests. Thanks!
Why not be able to include the "Add-Ons" during the RA acceptance process for OTAs. We are collecting all the contact info there and billing info, we could ask there if they wanted to add extra firewood etc. Seems like a logical place for it, so we can upsell those add-ons for OTA bookings.
Generally seasons are meant to apply across many different properties, while spot rates are designed to be finely tuned for specific properties at exact times.
Can I ask you to elaborate exactly what adjustments you're making that can't be done via spot rates. I see you mentioned owner block dates is it related to those?
If I'm understanding you correctly, you'd like to be able to create a discount code that applies a percentage discount to rent only. If so, I'm 100% with you there! I don't want the percentage discount to apply to cleaning fees, damage protection fees, or any other surcharges (pet fees, additional guests, etc.), but right now I have no choice but to allow it to.
What was limitation of the thermostats changing for guest arrivals and departures?
I would like to suggest adding a year to the discount booking criteria. I made a discount code for May for 10% off for anyone arriving in the month of May. I got some extra last-minute bookings because of the discount. However, I also got a booking for May 2024 that applied the discount to that reservation. It was my intention to give a discount for this year only. It would be great if I could choose the month AND year the discount applies to so this doesn't happen again. We frequently get bookings a year in advance in my area, so the current setup leaves me susceptible to giving discounts to people I don't want to give discounts to.
Is there an update for this?
This would actually relate to the concept of a "unified inbox", which has its own voting request thread. There are plans to add this and related functionality progressively over time.
Hello!
When I email a lead or guest from my own email (either my Gmail or an email from my website), I would like to be able to log that email in OwnerRez so that it becomes tracked and visible in "Conversations" with that lead or guest. This could work similar to Salesforce where I have a unique email address to OwnerRez that I include in BCC on all emails, then OwnerRez tracks which person that is going to based on their email and routes it to their conversation in OwnerRez.
This would be a huge help so that I can track all conversations happening with leads and guests either from my own email or from within OwnerRez all consolidated in one place.
Thank you!
I was just reading about this very subject in the latest Rental Scale Up article. Seems a no brainer to get more visibility, especially for direct bookings. Meantime, Google my business can provide some visibility and gives you an opportunity to post images, blog posts etc.
Is there an update to the development and/or release for this API?
So very excited about this! Thanks for all your work and putting up with our impatience! :D
Since I posted this five years ago Samsung has not really moved their hub forward and instead built the smart things software into all of their products. The hub is no longer produced so you now need to buy a new hub from another company.
Aeotec Smart Home Hub, Works as a SmartThings Hub, Z-Wave, Zigbee, Matter Gateway, Compatible with Alexa, Google Assistant, WiFi
you can also google what has happened to smartthings
Basically there is no easy solution for DIY and Lynx may be the best way to link it all together. $$$ though.
All,
I've looked through the property settings and either I've completely missed where to set the number of floors/levels/stories or it doesn't exist.
Feature request:
A dropdown selector where we can list the number of levels/floors/stories in a property. For example a two-story home versus a single-story home. Having the ability to select this within the Wordpress Plugin would be a useful feature as well. Below is a screenshot of what I have custom coded on my site and would like the ability to display via OR.
At launch, will the unified inbox include messaging at inquiry level or only at the booking level similar to uplisting?
Thank you OR. This will be a great feature for one of the most popular locks. Having to manage yet another 3rd party account for the locks is not ideal. Cannot wait for the direct integration. Much appreciated.
The Vrbo unified inbox is in active testing to find any potential issues and ensure a smooth rollout once the feature is released.
You can control other devices that are linked on a smartthings hub with Lynx. We have a cabin with smart thermostats connected to electric baseboard heaters, so turning those down when the cabin is not occupied is important. It’s an extra fee with Lynx but once they are enrolled you can set up a smart rule on one of the groups associated with the property for when the property is occupied that limits the range your gusts can set, as well as rules for what to do when the unit is empty and what to do prior to a check-in
Integration with smartthings using the seam API would be great! This is what hospitable iappears to be doing and including with their base rate
As an update, we have set up automation with Lynx it’s about $250 /yr which is expensive enough that I am looking into other automation solutions for the cabin, but was low enough that we went with it for now. Hospitable looks like they include the seam app as part of their standard price which is very similar to Ownerrez.
What happened to this?
Wonderful! Thank you.
