To Ownerrez Folks:

Airbnb has a new policy that states:

"Hosts generally may not ask guests to sign a separate contract or rental agreement, unless it is:

  • Required by law or community association rules (ex: HOA or building security requirements)
  • Necessary to facilitate access to an optional amenity, such as a golf cart rental
  • Requested in connection with a monthly stay (28 nights or more)
  • Related to a stay at a Luxe listing"

Here is the link to the new policy.

Do we need to turn off ownerrez automated rental contracts for Airbnb?

I’m hoping some sort of guidance will come out from Ownerez soon.

If I can get a rental agreement signed or a deposit then I’m going to be delisting from Airbnb and sticking with booking.com and direct and for that I don’t actually need a channel manager.

This has huge implications for Ownerrez and they need to get in front of it ASAP.
