You can use the Search button in the main Support Docs area - it searches the forums too.
If you look on your Houfy control panel in your list of properties, the listing number is shown prominently there.
Once you've set up the Houfy API in OwnerRez, you need to email their support desk and ask them to activate the connection from their end.

Hi, I just got started with OwnerRez a few weeks ago. Just wondering if there is a way to search the forum for answers?
I see a way to add a topic but I can't seem to find a search button.
Right now I am trying to connect my account with Houfy but not sure how I find the Houfy listing number. Or if I just start a Houfy listing, then plug that number in to the change property mappings section? How do I get OwnerRez info to push over to it? Thanks.

Hi Michelle and Andrew
I’m in Diamond Beach, just north of Forster. We’re almost backyard neighbours!
What are your properties/ website?
I’ve been with Ownerrez a couple of years now - and still slowly stepping my way through things (including a major move from xero to Quickbooks so it will all integrate) but it’s definately been a good move. I’ve also put another friend at Pacific Palms onto OR too
Feel free to touch base anytime
Regards
Dianne

Hi Laurie,
Welcome!
The search bar under the Support menu will search support articles, videos, forum posts and blog posts combined. You can also narrow it down to just one of those.

Here for the first time - hello and search question. 1 reply
How do we search for a topic on the forum? For example...I want to see how or if OwnerRez interacts and pulls the info from Houfy. So is there a place I can search with Keyword "Houfy"? Or if I want to find anything on any topic....how do I search around?

I'm not techy or very smart for that matter so this ain't easy, but I'm looking at like I'm creating a one hit wonder song and once it's done the paychecks will just roll on in . I'm looking forward to some tips. Anyone have a guide on computer programmer to English translation ?

Hey there, Dewey Beach! Don't give up! If you stick with it you'll love it. It's a tough learning curve, but it will make life easier.
May I suggest you join the Facebook group called "Unofficial OwnerRez Support Group." Lots of info and helpful folks on there.
Yes - you can use Channel Bridge on just one property.
You may have trouble importing some formatting. Per OR: We include a default renter agreement in your account. To create or update your own agreements, go to Settings > Legal Agreements. You can create as many agreements as you like. You can either start from the default agreement and customize it, or paste in the text of your agreement, or upload your existing MS Word format agreement. If your existing agreement is heavily formatted, it may be easier to paste in the text only (using Ctrl+Shift+V) and add formatting in the OwnerRez editor.
Can't help with "seasons" from Houfy. Sorry.
See you on Facebook!

I am starting my trial for my one vacation rental in Dewey Beach. Wow - there is a lot to do to set this up. I didn't expect it to be so daunting and I'm pretty tech savvy. Any tips for streamlining the onboarding process?
So far, I've run into difficulty as follows:
-not sure whether I can use channel bridge with just one property
-importing my rental agreement resulted in a formatting nightmare. Any way to import so formatting stays intact from the Word doc?
-is there any way to import seasons for rates from Houfy?
I haven't even started looking at email templates yet!
Feeling overwhelmed.

I am not sure what you are asking for - to set up ownerrez or to make a website? or both?
I have figured ownerrez out on my own over time, I have 3 properties. I have built my own website using generic website host company and ownerrez widgets (this was before ownerrez started offering to build entire websites).
In either case, you need to have ownerrez set up properly for each property you have( including calendar sync, property amenities, rates etc).
after that, if you decide to use ownerrez to build a website - it should be fairly easy.
If you will decide to have a 3rd party website and have ownnerrez widgets integrated, that is fairly easy too for any website person (as mentioned, I did my own).
But 1st step is to set up ownerrez.
Then decide who will be your credit card processor (ownerrez has a list of ones that they integrate with but they cannot decide that for you which one you want).
After you have decided, you sign up with that processor and obtain credentials for embedding into ownerrez.
Then test your payment by running example $1 transaction.

Welcome. I did not hire anyone and I did my own website. Ownerrez can help create and host fully bookable site for you - you just need to fill out your property(s) info first. Did you know you can also import your Airbnb or Vrbo listing into this software?
In any case, you can look at may help topic or reach out to support.
HI I am new 4 replies
my name is Tim and I am new to this software. my main reason to get it was to be able to process my own credit cards. I couldn't bare having Vrbo holding my money.
I hired some one to put my get my listings to put it up for me. I simply could't figure it out. Did any one else hire some one? i would love to hear your process on the sort ware.
so far , the only thing i can figure change my rates.

There have been some light bulb moments tonight, thanks. I'll check out the FB group. I have my own website(s), FB pages, two regional book direct sites, and of course the regular OTAs, TA/FK, abnb and for one listing HA. I just managed to get the most lucrative one 90% set up today, two more properties to go...LOL

Hi, Debi! Welcome. If you're on Facebook be sure to join the Unofficial Owner Rez Support Group. Lots of help here and there.
As for OR, you're right! Not as intuitive as we might like, but really wonderful once you get it going. Start with one thing at a time. You'll get there. I also still have so much to learn! Which listing sites are you using?
For your legal agreement, go to "Settings", then "Branding & Legal" then "Legal Agreements." When you're ready, check out the FB page I mentioned and see how to add custom fields which require renters to provide information and initial different parts of your contract.

Hi,
I have 3 properties, a bnb, and two stand alone homes. I am hoping this will make life a bit easier in the coming months when most of my inquiries come in. I have a lot of questions, as unfortunately set up isn't as intuitive as I thought it would be. Still trying to find where to upload my rental agreement, my cancellation policies, etc. And how to set up the email templates. I'll get there I'm sure, but sure is taking longer than expected.
Wish me luck ;)

We are excited to join a community of other property managers. We currently have about 40 vacation rentals and we would love to talk to other users of OR that love it. Our other software program got bought out by a huge cooperation and we are not okay with the 100% price increase. We look forward to the new change!
Hello everyone! I'm Erik from NJ with a vacation property in Kissimmee FL 0 replies
I've been using OwnerRez software for a little while now but just now came across the forums. I look forward to digging in deeper and learning to use OwnerRez for more than I currently am. Its a great pleasure to have found these forums so I can see what other members are doing and sharing. I hope to communicate with everyone on the forums and hope to get to a point where I can begin posting my experiences to help others.
My current property is a 3 bedroom 2.5 bathroom townhouse in Kissimmee, FL by Disney World. I'm enjoying my first year as a vacation rental owner and I'm looking forward to many more. I'm also eager to continue adding more properties to my portfolio which is why using software like OwnerRez to automate some of the processes is key.
If anyone has any recommendations, tips, or anything that could be helpful I'm all hears or probably eyes in this case.
Thank you,
Erik Kuhi
