Hello all! Great news today, Owner Bookings was released! You can read the new support article that has been started for it. V1 includes a new portal permission you can give to Owners (and take away Block privileges if you want/need to), and a new Booking Type condition to apply Triggers to. Enjoy!

How will this be different than a Listing Source? Currently we put Owner Stays under their own Listing Source and then can exclude that source for reports and it also allows the owner (or owner guest) to be treated as a guest but with customized messaging, etc. In addition as a booking simply with a different source it flows to our integrated tech like Breezeway and Touch Stay for the rest of the team and guest experience.

Will the ability for me to book owner stays from the system be coming soon (not booked by the owner from the portal)?

I didn't mention all the capabilities! The ability is already here. Once you start a manual booking yourself, you can choose Owner Booking.

Obviously the owner portal side of things requires the PM module, but can we still manually enter owner bookings without it?
Owner Bookings requires PM because it's built on Owners and Expenses - two features of PM. Looks like you already use PM anyway, though?
If we don't currently have the PM feature, is it easy to add?

It's fairly easy to add the PM feature. You can do so by going to the Billing section of your account and turning the feature on by sliding the circle above it. Once you've turned it on, you can set up owners, expenses, etc. We have this support article that goes over setting it up: https://www.ownerrez.com/support/articles/property-management-setup-configuration
Any chance that there will be an update that allows us to use this feature without the PM module?
That's not planned at this time, for the reasons Shawn mentioned above. Owner Bookings are tied in to Owners and Expenses configurable within the PM feature.
If you'd like to see this feature made available for those not using the PM premium feature, you can absolutely make a new Feature Request to suggest it!
