Is there a way to send an email to a guest prior to their stay to remind them about optional add ons, like pool heat and beach service that includes a link to purchase? I have a template email but I would like a place for them to click to add these services and pay right there.
I often take a look at the booking summary reports and how we are doing over past years. I would love to have the option to see in percentages where we are at. Is this something that could be looked at by chance. Thanks.
Not really, because it's not necessary here - OwnerRez already offers an open API, that anyone can use to connect to us:

Why would you? counter intuitive. They pay substantial service fee to vrbo. They could just google your property and book direct without the service fee- that would be their discount. Personally I never discount on the OTA. in fact, I mark my rates up./
I agree 100% we have seen more traffic via Google Search and Vikings directly with our company via Google than any other sites and would love to see the direct connect API through OwnerRez!

Optional works, but for Australia 🇦🇺 and other large countries where most of your customers are located it would make sense! 😊
That sounds like a good idea, but, what if you are in a small country and most of your guests come from somewhere else? E.g. Luxembourg or Monaco? It wouldn't do any good to put your country at the top of the list, it would just confuse people.
But, perhaps it might be an optional selection.
How about being able to select the default (selected) country as a setting under Culture? This way the entire world will be happy!
Hi Tim - have you tried the Line Item Pivot report? It's one of my favs and might just have all that you're looking for. Make sure to keep 'Merge similar charges' unchecked to get more of what you're looking for. -Shawn

Currently the logo on custom website and booking pages is hard-coded to link to the top level of the hosted domain. We use the OR website as a subdomain (bookings.lafayetteflats.com) and would love to have the logo link back to our main webpage in the parent domain (lafayetteflats.com). Seems like an easy option to add and we would appreciate it!
I love your product, but your reporting leaves much to be desired.
The Detail Bookings report has a column for Rent, but not one for Surcharges or Total Taxes. Therefore, it's impossible to know how much of the booking is yours and how much is going to the government. This makes it useless for looking at profit. Also, there is no column for Listing site fees or Credit card processing fees.
In order to see how much is going into my pocket, I need to run a Tax Detail report. The problem with THIS report is there is no Total Tax column. The individual taxes are shown, but no total. Therefore, I have to export the data into Excel and do my own calculation. Even worse, the columns are unpredictable, meaning there is a column for every tax type you have created. But when you run it for a different period that might have had different taxes for those bookings, you get different columns. Therefore, I have to create custom formulas every time. I can't even paste the data into a template because I can't be sure what tax columns will be present. And because this report does not have the other columns that the Detail Report has, it cannot be used on its own. So, you need to run both reports.
It's such a hassle that I don't even use the OR reports, although I really want to.
What I need is a "Kitchen Sink" report with everything on it (but without the unpredictable tax types). Then when I export to Excel I can pick and choose what data I want to look at, manipulate, create charts, etc.
It would be useful to have custom fields that can be set based on which platform they booked through.
There are many sites i advertise with that are not API connected yet we have little or no control over the definition of the cancellation policy.

I, therefore, create a custom cancellation policy to match that listing site. Owner Rez can do this to an extent up to 3 levels but needs an additional level to accommodate
the policy I am trying to create below. In this example, I can't add the criteria From the 7th day or later 100% because a maximum of 3 options can be added it would need 4.
Part 2 of this would be to allocate a cancellation policy automatically to a booking based on the listing site it came from. Currently, you can do this manually in the rules for a booking but to link it would be better. Rental agreements can currently be linked to a listing site so also should cancellation policies work in the same way.

In the top right corner of the Triggers page, there is a Forecast button that shows Triggers' statuses based on arrival and departure and you can filter by various items. That should get you what you're looking for.

When looking at a guest booking, go to Messages, under Automated Messages, there is a section called "Time-Based Automatic Messages (sent by triggers at a certain time)". I would like the ability to sort the trigger emails under this by time (eg. 20 days before checkin, 7 days before checkin, 1 day before checkin, day of checkin, day of checkout, 7 days after checkout) or title so that I can easily see which emails should have gone out, and what are the upcoming emails, then I can quickly see whether the status of the email matches what should have or will happen.

As other's have mentioned, there doesn't seem to be a way to set reminders for future monthly payments for long term bookings. If that could be added, it would be very helpful!
I would also vote for this if possible to get the guest phone numbers into their system. Will automatically text guest if noise levels get too high.
We have found that guests are much more likely to communicate and respond to SMS messages. Unfortunately this is only available in North America at the moment. Please may we see the introduction of world wide text messaging.
You can add a Tag group to the Guest record for this. Then tag your guests as verified or not.
Adding a synch to Google Places or Yelp would be a great addition.

If you add a product to the item catalog they maps to the right tax category in Quickbooks, you can still use their native tax reporting. You just need to map it to the right GL category for Sales/Lodging Tax
It would be nice to have an option to just turn the email into an AirBNB message, essentially removing all HTML formatting. Then the messaging could be maintained in one place, not two for the same exact messages that are just different due to messaging channel. This could be extended to SMS too.
I add a Property for each property, a Customer for the Owner, & then the Guest as Sub-Customers of the Owner. To enable the trust accounting, I also have a corresponding Vendor record for the Owner, where I create a bill for each booking, including the commission, making all the guest charges billable. Then when I settle up each month, I have all the proper debits & credits in Quickbooks. It would be nice to have a more robust integration to enable this, as well as other linking in Quickbooks to Guests/Owners/Properties/Classes to eliminate duplicate entries.
