+1 for floor plans
The option suggested above might work for single property hosted sites, but it's not a good method for those of us with multiple property hosted sites. Please correct me if I'm missing something there.
This could be a simple "Floor Plan" tab on the property page, or even easier - just a way to link to a PDF/Image of the floor plan - but we need a way to do this other than making the user scroll through 30-40 pictures to then view it in the wrong aspect ratio.
Please give us something here.
Hi Stan:
You can use 3rd party alerts, via Properties>Rules for a basic notification. Or you could create a template & trigger, using field codes to populate all the info you want to see. You can include dates, guest names, numbers of guests, pets, listing site source, etc.
As it stands, there isn't really an appropriate place to assign a set ongoing monthly service charge to Owners in the PM module. For example, I have a number of customers who use our linen and stocking service, for which we charge a set $100 a month. Right now if I want that expense recorded in OR, I have to add that expense to a random booking for said owner. I know it may be challenging to move past the data hierarchy of doing everything at the booking unit level, but I think it is worth consideration for the PM subset of your customers.
it would be really nice if when a new booking occurs you could email the owners to
notify the details of the new booking. for now we have to login and view calendars
to figure out if a new booking has happened. it would be a nice new feature to have and
save a lot of wasted time constantly checking site.
thx

I've had nothing but the best of interactions with their support. Sometime last summer when I switched to OR I asked Lynx support if and how they worked with OR, which at that time was an iCal link. When they went live with their API integration with OR (which OR still has not announced officially beyond a comment in this forum), Colin from Lynx reached out and let me know the API integration was live and offered to help walk me through the connection (I was already connected by then). I've had a couple of issues with the API with times being off randomly and they have been very quick to investigate the issue.
What addons did you have for $99/m? Did you have whitelabel and SMS? I pay less than that and only use the basic service with two of my properties having thermostat integration.
For what they charge, they should be!
I found their customer service really condescending, they assumed I had only one property and said:
“We typically work with large property owners/managers. Probably not a great fit for you.”
I wanted to test one property, to check it actually worked with z-wave, as that’s what all my lock use.
They also wanted to charge me $99/month for just one property!
I just added the API integration to my Lynx account. There was a slight issue, as they only grabbed 20 of my 22 reservations, but they quickly corrected it. Their customer service is great!
Can you paste into a code block the embed code from Vimeo/etc.?
Yes, I would love to be included in the beta test! We have 11 properties.
The GVR integration is actively being worked on, daily. It involves a good deal of back and forth with Google, approvals, etc. The speed of the release depends on the speed of the Google approvals of each step. There are personnel dedicated to this project, though we cannot predict the ETA for final release.
As Ken mentioned, we have dozens, if not hundreds, of clients who have asked to participate in the beta. We will reach out to those who are selected, which will be based on various technical reasons so as to thoroughly wring out all aspects of the integration as much as possible. But, because the demand for this feature is so great, rather than doing a large-scale beta, we'll move into wide release as quickly as seems prudent. So, if you have asked to join the beta and aren't invited, please don't take it personally. :-)
Can someone from Owner Rez please provide a status on the Google VR integration? It was a year ago that it began. Can we get a status on how much longer it is expected to take or when we can expect to hear an update? Thanks. Ken
We really want to be part of the Beta if possible.
Would like to be part of the Beta group as well
I’m not sure if I’ve already done this but if not I would love to be added to the test group
Yes. I would like to test, I have 10 properties to work with.
I thought Voting 👍 was enough, but just in case I would love to join the Beta
We would like to join the beta:) although it seems it is already going on. Thanks
Count me in
We’d love to be part of the Beta!
We manage multiple properties and receive informational email from HOA's, Property Management Companies, Owners, etc. that
we currently try to keep track of in GMAIL FOLDERS
It would benefit us tremendously if we could attach documents at the property level.
I would like to join the Beta testing. I see to be a Product Manager and conducted integration and UAT testing. Would love to help from the user side.
Also, I would like to see my Google reviews on my existing Google businesses for my vacation rentals to carry over.
We are now working with Google Vacation Rentals to integrate with them. If you are interested in potentially joining our beta test group, please upvote this if you haven't already.
Would love to help test
Please. Lol. I've been trying to figure it out myself with no luck.
Thanks
This request seems to be the same as this one:
Trigger to send follow up to unbooked quoted inquiries
https://www.ownerrez.com/forums/requests/trigger-to-send-follow-up-to-unbooked-quoted-inquiries
And I just made a related, but not identical feature request:
Abandoned Booking Tracking/Recovery/Response
https://www.ownerrez.com/forums/requests/abandoned-booking-trackingrecoveryresponse
I just made another feature request which is related but not exactly the same feature, but maybe should be incorporated into one feature. What do you think?
https://www.ownerrez.com/forums/requests/abandoned-booking-trackingrecoveryresponse#71185
I have no way of knowing if a potential guest has come onto my website to book and then abandoned the booking, and it could be for one or more of several reasons. So I find it essential to be able to track when this happens and have that booking retained and/or recovered and have a message triggered that could encourage them to complete the booking or whatever else I want to communicate with the potential guest.
For instance, I was trying to place an order for an item on a product website, and I was having technical difficulty with that, and so I had no option but to abandon the cart. The next morning I got an email from the site with a link to continue my order, and I was able to do so without the technical issue. I also got a phone call from the site owner and I explained the issue to them, and they were thankful to know about it.
This request is related to another request recent, "Trigger to send follow up to unbooked quoted inquiries," but not exactly the same, (https://www.ownerrez.com/forums/requests/trigger-to-send-follow-up-to-unbooked-quoted-inquiries) and maybe should be part of the same feature?
Ken was partially correct, we have similar stuff planned, but nothing that quite tackles what you're looking for. I'd recommend turning this into a FR at this time.
Thank you for the quick response :)
Alas, no - and as with all such things, I think you'll see rolling releases of additional functionality added to the ribbon calendar bit by bit.
yay!! Do we have a ETA on that?
