It would be very beneficial if the native Damage Protection options could be applied to more than just Rental Guardian. I utilize another one of your integrated protection partners, however, you restrict all the built-in DP capabilities to only Rental Guardian. As long as we're with one of your integrated partners, we should be able to configure those capabilities to work with the protection vendor of our choice.

Email preferences can now be controlled within the guest's contact record.
You can change your guests' messaging preferences by navigating to their Guest Info, either through the Guest Conversation > Contact Info > Marketing Opt-Out or the specific Booking > Overview > Guest > Edit Contact Info > Marketing Opt-Out. The contact must have a phone or email saved before the checkboxes are available on the contact.
OwnerRez suggests confirming any guest marketing preferences in writing before changing their preferences. This is the only area where you, as the host, can opt individual guests out of receiving marketing emails. Any email addresses of guests who have opted out of receiving marketing emails will be excluded from the Email List Report.

Is there a way to have a field on the property page that updates the VRBO video field?
Currently the fields API endpoint returns a string of numbers, doesn't correlate to anything. Would be better if it returned the URL of the file instead.
I came to the features forum today just to look for this.
It would be so helpful in list view to be able to drag and drop column orders or hide columns we don't want to see in that view (per user).
It would be super useful to be able to like comments here in the forums (vai a thumbs up or a heart). It is a helpful way for users to add their agreement/emphasis to a comment without having to add their own comment that simply says "me too" or "I agree".
When posting expense by property, the list of properties in the drop down menu is sorted by owner. This is not needed. If you have to post by owner, that's the next drop down list. This list should be just the properties. There should be type ahead feature to find the property.
I would like to be able to set discount codes rules, such as "Next 3 to use" or "book by xxx" options when giving direct booking discounts to guests.

Your Feature Request has one upvote, at present. I would suggest sharing this with likeminded OR users who would be willing to vote for this idea! Demand drives a lot of what we do on the backend here, so the more votes, the more likely it is that we would prioritize such a request.
This topic has now been open for 4 YEARS. I know of at least one competitor to OwnerRez have had this feature for at least 3 years now. It also appears to have the most votes of open topics. What's the reason not to work on this feature?

The speed of new feature adds is painfully slow. It appears that other PMs are iterating and adding features 2-3x faster. At this pace OR won't be the "go to PMS" for much longer. I really hope there's some plans in place to hire more Devs to keep up.

It would be super helpful to show if a message failed to send. I received a notification from OR on my phone that a text didn't go through. However, when I go to the actual conversation in box, there is no indication that my guest didn't receive the message.
I saw this request in an old post, but through the use of the Schlage app? Is there any update on this?
As an alternative, I'm willing to bet this could be done with a little creativity using triggers and zapier. Has anyone tried something similar?
I haven't gone very deep into OR's capabilities yet, so I'm not sure if this would be currently possible.
This view is helpful because you can easily see the upcoming reservations with tags. It would be helpful for cleaners or team members to see tags for special requests.

Hey Cory, I believe you can already do what you're asking. Take a look at the following screenshot. I created a trigger that is sent 5 days after the booking is created if the renter agreement is still not signed:
A second use case would be for last minute bookings: I send messages to cleaners for new bookings and also a reminder a week before, but if the booking is last minute, I could set a condition to not send the reminder if the booking was only created X days ago.
For this, we would need to add Booking Originated Days Ago condition like there is for Booking Arrival Days From Now.
I'm part of the new Booking.com beta group, syncing over content (photos, amenities, descriptions, etc), and I'm enjoying it.
I noticed this list of "Fine Print" items in the Booking.com extranet, and it's a bunch of random hotel and COVID related stuff. See below.
I wouldn't care, but there's one called "guest must show ID and credit card at check-in" that is turned on for all properties. And this is showing out live on the public guest side. There's a big warning saying that ID/CC will be required when you get there. BDC also has a history of dropping in new hotel-type stuff like this. Now that you have content sync working, it would be great to be able to turn these off automatically.
No time stamps on the messages
Click on an individual message bubble in the thread, and it will show the time stamp along with the status (queued, sent, failed). This follows what most chat/text apps like iPhone or Google do when you press on a message. Example below:

There are four triggers, Booking, Block-Off, Inquiry and Quote. Any chance you could add trigger Message Received?
Agreed. I used to use Superhog, but that is a horrible name for an insurance company. I'd get quite a few questions about them. Something coming from Stripe would be much better.

I guess they finally heard the message that SuperHog wasn't the best name. FYI, SuperHog was supposed to be short for Super Host+Guest. It was certainly a memorable name of a company! But can see how it may have raised questions. Just in case you wanted to give them another look. Perhaps the new name would inspire more Trust with your guests?
Also I would mention that the Lynnbrook Group has a feature they call GuestID. It is free for last minute booking made within 7 days of the date of stay as Last minute bookings like that tend to be the highest rates of fraud. The PM > Batch Update tool is great, but if you need to update expenses on bookings that were already remitted to the owner (and thus PM Locked) you can't.
I'd like an option here:
To "ignore PM Lock" or "update even if PM Locked" or however you want to put it. Otherwise, there are dozens (or even hundreds!) of bookings that you cannot update when wrong.
I don't know about this recent upgrade.When I open the inbox I only see the chatting messages via Airbnb. No time stamps on the messages.
If I click on Activity Timeline In the right side panel, It opens up a timeline showing messages, triggered messages and emails sent
Then. . . if I click "Full View" in the right side panel, it brings me back to what used to be displayed prior to the recent upgrade. This view shows me the entire messaging sequence including chat, triggered messages and triggered emails sent. I think this upgrade is more cumbersome that what was available before.
Can't wait this will save so much time.
