I agree that we should be able to get reports that apply to properties when they were active.  We have sold several properties during the year an are now doing taxes and I need historical data from when they were active in OR.  Is there any chance of this becoming an option?

Can we please add the property name to the Custom Fields export?  I have to be an excel genius to create a report with Property names and the info I need.

We began our STR with AirB&B, & got an August/Yale lock because it worked with that system. 
It is cost prohibitive, to use OR’s phrasing, for us to get another lock, so we are stuck with whatever manual hoops (client’s last 4 of phone manually configured, fiddly diddly dee). We are in the US. Thank you for continually listening & improving.

Here are a few options for you if you haven't seen them:

  • Third party alerts - will send an email to anyone you choose when a booking is created, changed, or cancelled.
  • Custom Cleaner iCals - create an iCal to send to your cleaner. They add this to their calendar and will see all of the booked dates.
  • Triggered Emails - Can create a trigger to send an email or SMS when a booking is made. You can also send an email or SMS the day before a booking leaves, or the morning when a booking arrives as a reminder.
  • You can also create a stay report to highlight arrivals and departures based on a specified date range. You would have to send this manually at this time.

an event email to my cleaning people if I receive a rental for the coming Wk, Day, Month Also exit cleaning reminders.

 

**CLEANING is the # 2 most imporatant event for property manager aside from Sales.

Seems that the reason for the super-long delay is that OwnerRez isn't making this a high priority.

Team,

Currently I can run a Credit Card Processing History report to VIEW all credit cards however I'd like to be able to run a DECLINED report to be able to monitor these for SCHEDULED payments that fail, on a weekly basis (rather than monitor email notifications one by one which seems very inefficient to me).   Could this report request be included in a future upgrade?

Hi Scott,

Nightly rate breakdowns per booking are visible to OR support only at this time. We've still got some work to do behind the scenes to get this ready for its user-facing debut. I am not yet sure whether this will be completed by end of year, but I'm hopeful for 2026 at the latest.

Hi Everyone,

I've changed the Status of this request back to Requested, which accurately reflects where we are with it today. This request is not on the 2025 roadmap, but we are keeping it in mind for 2026. I won't make any promises here as we have a lot of work going on behind the scenes in other areas of the system. Hopeful for 2026 is probably the best way to phrase it.

I would like a way for OR to calculate an early check in or late check out based on the nightly rate a guest pays. For example, if a guest is staying 7 nights and the nightly rate is $200, I would like a trigger that would calculate 50% of the $200, plus the taxes. So then if another guest rents 3 nights and their rate is $250, then 50% of that, plus the tax. Right now, I only see a way to charge a fixed amount for everyone or a way to charge 50% of the total rent, which is not what I'm trying to do.

Would like guests to be able to first view the photos in the numerical order I have chosen to present them. But also have the option to sort by room so that if/when looking more closely at the listing, they have the ability to view the photos for each room / space.

Please add Tags to Deposits 

 

This would greatly help during reconciliation where I need to tag a deposit that needs further work. For example Deposits to Quickbooks do not sync when they contain a refund. It would be very help to Tag that Deposit for further review because it needs to be created manually in QuickBooks. This should be considered a priority as it would be a huge time saver and progress on QuickBooks functionality is not currently complete within OR.

I would like the ability to automatically post expenses per property, either through an API integration or the Quickbooks integration.  This way, each time an expense hits one of my owner's accounts, the expense would be automatically reflected in OwnerRez.

We do have plans to roll out a user facing audit log, but that is still a goal and not an action item yet.

Feel free to share this request with likeminded users who would find this beneficial as well! Voting allows our Dev and Product teams to determine where the demand is strongest when we consider new features to add to the roadmap. We'll leave this request open to garner more votes for the time being.

Hi Rick - Adding a discount for an offline payment type is currently a manual process. You can set up a manual discount and apply it to the booking once it has been confirmed.

To place the admin fee at the bottom for a direct booking, you can check the "Place this below tax line items" box, using the instructions found here:

Have you considered a property share format? Owners in the Smokies have this property share smokymountaincabinsbyowner.com. You can see how we set it up on smokymountaincabinsbyowner.com/join. The requirement is that all participants have to be on OwnerRez. The website is hosted on Wix, members contibute $5/property/year to cover hosing fees. Currently, 150 properties participate. Every member is also obligated to have a share widget on their respective website, like this : https://www.bluemountaincabins.com/more-cabins-573986261. This format encourages direct bookings, not dependent on slow ical, and gives travelers immediate availability/price without needing to send an inquiry upfront
