Unfortunately, this isn't really possible.
IP addresses are commonly shared and reassigned regularly, so that, while it is indeed technically possible to block a particular IP address, it wouldn't likely actually block the desired target for very long and would likely block other people you didn't intend to.
It would also be possible to block specific email addresses from making a booking, but of course most people have multiple email addresses and getting a new one is fast and free, so that wouldn't be very effective either.
I don't know where you read that. Other than the PM (Property Management) premium feature, it's not an additional cost. So, if you already have the PM module, there's no additional charge for this.
Will this be an extra cost to current PM module or only if you aren't currently using PM you will have to add that to your setup?
I just ran into this and really need this feature. Airbnb is saying they can't do this since I am API integrated and that I need to do this through my 3rd party app.;
Disappointing to read that on top of the PM services we already pay for, this will be an added expense.
Any updates from the OwnerRez team on the Quickbooks roadmap?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFNq8TMvd7Y
I feel like this topic has been pretty well discussed this thread already, but I wanted to share this youtube video on two methods to record "credit card" (or Airbnb) fees in Quickbooks. Method 1 is what I've been doing manually with each payment each month, looking up the Host Service Fee then adding a resolving line item with the deposit to make it match the invoice (so tedious), but it seems like method 2 in this video wouldn't be that difficult to add as an option in Ownerrez if a user wanted to enable it. Just add a setting to move the Host fee (information OR already has) into the invoice and sync it with Quickbooks so the invoice and the deposit in QB match.
Yes, we are planning to add tag automation capabilities, which would include this sort of arrangement.
It would be very useful if down the road there was an option in the surcharges to "apply tag" when the surcharge is used.
For an example, if a guest wants an add-on like "pool heat", we would add the surcharge for pool heat and it would automatically
apply a created tag "Pool Heat" to the booking which is very easy to identify for others looking at the bookings in list view.
We use tags like this for addons for Elevator use, pool heat, etc. but if someone adds the charge and not the tag, it can easily go unnoticed by maintenance that has to turn on heat pumps or unlock elevators, etc.
Hi Karen,
Glamping Hub is currently in the final stages of beta testing and the public release should be soon!
Hello OwnerRez
I'm seeing these new columns pop up for Lynbrook Group Fee in my Line Item Pivot Report (https://app.ownerrez.com/reports/lineitempivot)
You can see there are 11 Lynbrook Group Fee's I'm showing in this screenshot, but the behavior seems to be that it adds a new column each time there's a new booking through VRBO/website when paid through Lynbrook.
This presents a data challenge when I export this into my revenue/tax reporting spreadsheet because I constantly need to update the columns to my sheet and it complicates everything. Is there a way I can consolidate all these columns into one, so that it's not all unique per transaction?
Thanks!

Wow that is very detailed. I love that. I created a google form to start collecting data. But I really need to expand on it. This will help a lot. How are you collecting it? This is what Im doing. Scroll to the bottom of the page. Thanks for sharing.

I'd love to get ChatGPT installed ONLY if it responded to simple questions like "how many bedrooms" with "read the frickin' description. The bedroom count is CFB at the top and there's a freaking floorplan too ya dolt!"
That's actually a very worthy example of something that is straightforward and obvious to a person, but to a computer, not so much. As human beings, we all understand the concept of what a half-bath is - it's a bathroom with a toilet and sink but no shower or tub. And, a 3/4 bath has a toilet, sink, and shower, but no tub.
To a computer, though, I'd bet the AI would be easily confused, particularly in a house with a half-bath powder room downstairs, a full bath in the master suite, a 3/4 bath in the second bedroom, and an outdoor shower for returning from the beach. How many baths does the house have?
Great to hear! Thanks for sharing.

I've used them a few times now and they've fired without a hitch. Thanks for making this happen OR!
I tried to set this up by using the excel export import however it does not provide enough fields. Likewise the duplicate a listing falls short.
the temporary access for a owner to the data form is the best way to provide this functionality.
separately, I find owners pretty lazy on this subject and my efforts to get them to fill in a spreadsheet were not successful. We just do a phone interview. Faster overall.

There is ongoing work to add additional triggers that should address most if not all of your needs in the near future.
Hey Patricia... I am just in the early stages of this as well and was looking to build out the questionnaire as well... would you be willing to share the list you came up with that gets all the info you needed from the owners?

In case you missed it, we released Inquiry Triggers a few weeks ago. This feature adds support for automatically responding to Airbnb, Vrbo, and Email inquiries.
I fully agree,
I'm keeping my Hospitable account just for this feature and being able to see guest's pictures before they book.
I'm keeping my Hospitable account because of this, they allow to send automaticcally messages with diffrent triggers.
I hope ownerrez add this feature soon
It's multi click and when you have to respond to multiple messages or go back in to the inbox it's just not super convenient. Either have a back to inbox button, or put the InBox as it's own button, not a sub of CRM.
It would be great if we could process credit & debit cards through different processors, e.g. route debit cards through ProcessorA and credit cards through ProcessorB. I can get a lower rate with credit through one processor, but I get a much lower rate on debit cards through another processor that charges directly based on interchange rates. It's about 2% lower for debit card fees. In my case it's large enough volume to make a significant difference. For now I have to route both credit and debit through the same processor, but it would save me a lot of money to route them independently. Thanks!
We have 48 properties and are ready to move forward with Marriott. Would like to see this added back to the consideration field. TIA.
I'm still waiting for a reply from the CEO of Glamping Hub as to when it will be open for beta testing before it gets officially released.
Excellent - thank you Joel!
