I have recently been told by VRBO that my homes may not be showing up when someone selects the pool feature because owner rez doesn't have a filter that just says pool. I was told that ownerrez only has heated pool and fenced pool, so if someone searches just pool, my homes won't pop up. Does anyone have a work around for this?
Hello!
I would love to see an additional feature for the discount codes - a way to create a ceiling on the limit.
For example, I would like to offer 10% off my nightly rate UP TO $500.
Current OR only offers a percentage or dollar amount off, not both.
Thanks!
Ditto. The strike api would be an awesome integration.
Unfortunately no, this is not planned for the near future, as there are a great many other more generally helpful accounting improvements already under way and in the roadmap, that would be applicable to all PMs and not just to Xero users.

I am working on a WordPress site, https://palmwavestays.com/, which uses the OwnerRez WordPress plugin and OwnerRez REST API for Apps. I believe that if OwnerRez offered the following features, it would be easier for developers to integrate OwnerRez widgets and APIs. Options on the property search widget configuration page:
Hi Brooke,
Currently you should be able to set themes via Settings > Theming which you can apply to specific properties. by doing so you can also set different emails to be used per theme. Effectively this should allow you to use specific emails for different regions of properties.
Does this satisfy what you're looking for?

Push notifications is now in development. No release ETA yet, but it is currently being worked on!
Hello! Have there been any updates to this? I did not realize that this was not an option when I first created my OwnerRez account and website for my rentals. I agree with everyone else that time is of the essence when it comes to guest bookings. They will very quickly look elsewhere. An SMS notification is imperative for STR! Thanks!
Hello Maria,
Did you ever get an answer to this? I want the host fee to show under the "Charges Tab" also and not under the "Transaction Tab". At least I don't care if it shows under transactions as long as it is deducting it from the total amount collected so that Quickbooks invoices are correct.
Hi
Any news on an integration with Xero?
Thanks
Keren
I'd like to request to have different email addresses for my properties in different states. This will make it easier to digest through all emails funneling to one general email box. For example, any inquiries or questions on my California properties would go to one email address, all inquiries or questions for properties in Arizona would go to another. This would make it easier for employees who only work in specific locations on my properties in those areas to only check their specific inbox.
We are currently working on implementing Inquiry Triggers. This will allow you to set to autorespond during certain hours. If you are concerned about keep your response level high, you can have it always fire and say something like, thanks for your inquiry, we'll be with you shortly. Once inquiry triggers are out we can look at other scenarios but this would be the extent for a "v1".
I agree with Stacia and Larry. The process will work itself out and we all will benefit in time. Let's give them some time.
Many of us requested to be included but haven’t yet been added. But have to trust the process and when it’s ready I’m sure they will add people to the test or live production rollout.
I believe I requested to be on the beta group.
Hi Derek,
At this time we have over 50 users in our Beta test, and we're working out some issues with the integration before we add anyone else to it. We're working as fast as we can through the issues that are coming up, most of the time is waiting on responses from Google engineers for what needs to be fixed, or waiting for them to make changes to the API systems.
Patience is running out…
Once this is available, will it show our rates directly on google so that guests can see / search our rates? I see this feature with a lot of other small bnbs, inns and hotels in my area and hoping we can be one of them soon.
You can go on google hotels and select vacation rentals to see what it will look like. It seems somewhat similar to booking.com. Traveler has to enter desired dates and number of guests (and other filters),. and then list of properties matching will be shown. Example.
Great news, Shawn! Thank you!!
Or is that functionality only on Google Business pages? How do we set that up?

If the owner does not want to show the cleaning fee as a separate line item.
Ex:
Instead of showing
Rent 5 nights at $200/night = $1000
Cleaning fee = $100
Show
Rent 5 nights at $220/night = $1100
This is already doable on widgets (Settings > Surcharges > Cleaning Fee > Categorize this as a 'rent' line item). And possible to do this for Airbnb by classifying the cleaning fee as "management".
But would be good to do the same on emailed quotes when {QHCTAB} shows rent+ cleaning rolled into rent instead of breaking out the cleaning fee as a line item.
What is happening? Why are people taking OR feature discussions off the thread and into a private WhatsApp group? What is the purpose of this other than to fragment the discussion?
I have asked OR to organize a discussion group that can have working sessions. Several people have volunteered to help but nothing is happening. It is very difficult to have a productive discussion over threads in a asynchronous manner - That is not how products are developed. Additionally, it seems that there is a lot of people trying to figure out how to keep their books with the current system. If there is interest in having a live discussion great, if not, then no harm.
As I said above, the goal is to list, organize, prioritize what is needed and then post a summary back to this group as the main thread.
When I got involved there was a bunch of incoherent different threads of accounting needs. OR didn't organize it - I had to take the time of going through it all, organizing and clarifying the needs and from what I gathered from the discussion it was very well received. After serveral more months using OR, I have substantial more feedback and suggestions and would prefer not to redo it in a vacuum. I'm also interested in how others are dealing with the current shortfalls. If we can put together a group of people that understand both STR and Accounting we can shortcut mistakes and miss-guided development. The current approach, in my opinion (and I don't know the history) seems to have some gaps in conceptualization or it seems developed ad-hoc at the least.
Credit cards are big part of the financial reconciliation. From what I understand according to OR themselves, Stripe is the most common Processor used by OR members (by far), yet why was syncing of credits developed for Lynbrook before it was done for Stripe? How do we have things prioritized with transparency?
