Would be a very helpful feature or tool as our template libraries grow. Being able to select some, or all, and export each as a separate file. Cutting and pasting to get them out is just too cumbersome.
We have a lot of templates and find ourselves editing often. Often feel it would be easier in a real text app instead of a browser. Most DEFINITELY is when on mobile. Editing on mobile is a royal pain and uncomfortable.
Plus, I like to have an offline library of my templates in the event of an issue. Even easier to share with other OR users. Last, despite it being 2023, it is just not possible to work online everywhere and at least we could work on templates and load up later.
And (not that I would do this) its yet another step in data portability.
Also have search parameters for phrases, in quotation marks if need by.
Will this include the hubitat/z-wave Yale update too?
Yes, that is the current plan at least. If not at the same time, they will be very close with Schlage and Igloo coming first. Dev review and testing are going on right now on all of the above.
I saw Hubitat has recently released the c8, is that the hub that will be required? Just trying to plan ahead.
Our Hubitat app should work on C8 as well. We are using C7 in our testing, but my experience with C8 is that it is functionally the same. There is no reason the version alone should stop anything from working. There will be an "OwnerRez App" that you install into Hubitat that will drive it and expose/use whatever Z-Wave or Zigbee locks are attached to your Hubitat controller. Doesn't need to be Yale. Just any "lock" type device that is registered against the hub.
Someone mentioned splitting the Hubitat/Z-Wave feature to another feature request. I agree that that would be good, but am unsure how to do that at this point given how much conversation has gone on here. And again, the Hubitat release will be with (or on the heels) of the other, so they are kind of becoming the same thing. All of the above will be part of our new "OwnerRez Powered" lock section.

Often a third party — domestic partner, family member, friend or business rep — books for a guest. When that happens, the contact record for the booking ends up with each of their contact infos. Often, too, yet another third party needs to be communicated with, say if their credit card is being used to pay.
For clarification and communication purposes, there is a need to have the email addresses and phone numbers for one party or the other, typically the guest's, be the first on the list and otherwise arranged.
The only way that OR now allows this is for the particular contact info to be copied and deleted, the whole contact record saved, and then for the record to be opened again, "Add New" clicked on and the contact info pasted into that field and then saved. Depending on how many phone numbers, email addresses and physical addresses that need to be arranged, this needs to be done for each, which is an involved process.
Far easier would be to allow us to change the order of phone numbers, email addresses, and physical addresses right on the page.
Also to improve communications with guests, nick name, optional middle name, and company name fields are needed. If a guest's legal name is Katherine, but they want to be called Katie or something else, they will appreciate being called Katie or that something else in all communications, and it will make our triggered, templated or on-the-fly communications much more personal if that nick name is identified and substitutes the legal first name.
Middle and company names are needed for improved identification purposes.
Please add a Duplicate option to things like Templates, Triggers, Surcharges, Discounts, etc. At times we need to replicate something and only make small changes to it -- and we have to build it from the ground up because there's no option to Duplicate an existing one. A simple Duplicate option would be such an enormous help!

I know that OR is already using Twilio for SMS. Why not leverage that relationship and offer the rest of the Twilio solutions.

And, as Tim suggests, one place to view all phone, text and email conversations with eventual integration of all of the other messaging apps that are available.
Having to search several places is a big time waster.
I am integrated with PriceLabs for dynamic pricing. My problem is when guests want to change shorten their stay. I don't know how much the guest booked for a particular night because we don't see the individual nightly rates under the "Charges" tab. I can't use PriceLabs or the rates listed in OR to view that nightly rate because the prices are dynamic. I only see what the total rent is. In OR, I have the setting "Rent: Detailed Booking" selected so I thought each night would be split out. What is a way I can view what rate the guest booked for each night?

One of the biggest frustration with booking charges is not being able to see what the guest pays for each particular night, forcing me to have to go to the Rates calendar under settings to see those.
Moreover, to be able to see from top to bottom the totals and complete breakdowns of what my guests pay and what I pay in commission fees, I have to either figure them out on my own or go to the booking on the OTA's website. This should not be the case.
These can be fixed by fully showing the detailed and complete itemizations of charges, as well as complete breakdown of what the guest pays when booking through one of the OTAs.
Yes please!! There's really no way for a guest to upload a copy of their id and credit card?
On mobile (iOS in my instance), when I click the Airbnb reservation link on the booking overview screen, it launches a browser window. Would love to have this automatically open within the Airbnb app instead!

I have a closed booking that is paid for.
I just got in an additional bill from a caterer who provided services to the guest.
I went to create a separate booking/invoice but could not do this without a booking property on available dates.

If unit B and A are linked, and unit B is already blocked by a booking from Unit A, between eg 5-10th October, I am unable currently to do a manual block from 1st Oct - 31st Oct on unit B.
I would like to be able to block the full period to close off the unit for that period. If the booking in unit A is cancelled, as it stands currently, the dates in unit B will be automatically opened for sale, and I do not want them open.
Can we please integrate with Strike to accept payments in USD and bitcoin.
I would really like to see additional options added to template triggers booking criteria. I've run into this before, but right now what's top of the pile for me is wishing there was an option to select only bookings with a non-standard check-in time! (For my email offering early check-in by booking the night before arrival, I'd like it to only trigger to guests who haven't already pre-arranged this.)
When you go to manually record a deposit, it shows you what payments have not yet been deposited (so it shows you where you left off, so to speak).
In looking briefly at your account, your payment processor is integrated to do automatic deposits and you have Airbnb Transaction Sync turned on so you should have very few manual deposits to do, if at all.
If you have further questions on this, write in to the Helpdesk and we can dive into more specifics with you.
P.S. You can use the Batch Update button on the right-hand side of the page if you need to mark payments in bulk as deposited, or undeposited if you need to make changes.
P.P.S. I just noticed you use QuickBooks. If you're manually processing them there, we do have plans to bring Deposits into QuickBooks automatically. We hope to be able to begin work on that in the next quarter or two. That should be a huge timesaver when we get that established if that is what you currently do manually.

Recommend making a new feature request for the Z-Wave locks. This Feature request is specific to the Schlage Encode Wifi locks (no hub) as it is one of the most popular locks. I appreciate that Ownerrez has listened to our feedback to provide direct integration with this lock. Remote lock still exists for other lock variants as a solution for now. No PM software is perfect and has EVERY feature but I do appreciate that Ownerrez has a way to request a feature and let the community vote on how important those features are. Definitely helps guide their development focus!
