That absolutely makes sense
toni
Toni, perhaps the I see lots of other listing channel links for my property on Google Vacation Rentals. Why is that? answers your question?
Thank you so much. It looks like a travel website in Amsterdam has my property on GVR as a cottage. Kinda weird as I am not affliated with this website and to book you have to you their site. Will this be a problem? Makes sense to me know why some STRs have multiple GVR profiles.
Well Wishes,
Toni
It hows that I am now intergrated with GVR. When I go to GVR several things are occuring.
1: My property does not show under "houses" but shows under "cottage"
2: There isn't a landing page that shows pricing or "inquire"
3: It doesn't show that it is available despite using dates that I know are open.
4: I have an error under "analyzing listing" under channel rules with GVR. The message reads, "Apply Season by only supports split across"
5: How do I get my google business reviews to show on the landing page?
Thank you so much,
Toni
Toni, I'm not convinced that your GVR listing is live yet, but I will try to address some of your questions.
3. Why aren't my rates displayed on my Google Vacation Rentals listing?
4. Your seasons must be configured to Split Across. Navigate to Settings > Pricing > Pricing Preferences > Change > Apply Season By > Split Across.
It's showing the long listing number as shown above but it's not green so it won't let me click on it. Does that mean it's still not live on GVR?
Correct.

The fact that you think collecting biometrics (that obviously don’t stay siloed) is all fun and games is a huge turn off.

Hey Scott,
You have 3 options for ID collection in Enso Connect...
1. With Biometrics using our partners like Autohost or Superhog.
2. ID collection through Enso Connect (no biometrics)
3. No ID collection.
Collecting IDs via email or messaging is a breach of security for your guests - using the Boarding Pass solution increases trust with the guest when it comes to security, as we follow all necessary privacy (GDPR, PIPEDA...) and cyber security rules when collecting this sensitive information.
We are definitely very giddy about our tech solution 😂 - we'd love to share more with you how you can configure this to meet your own requirements - what makes our solution unique is you can customize and configure it the way you want to meet your unique business needs!

Hey Alece,
You can absolutely flow the rental agreements through our Boarding Pass solution! Let us know if you want to learn more. As for the 2-way check-in/out times, we'll look into this, as it is really helpful when a guest purchases an early check-in/late check-out! Stay tuned :)
- Francois
Hey Michael,
A part of our solution includes an AI unified Inbox. At the moment this inbox works with all channels (Airbnb, SMS, Email, Whatsapp) once a reservation is confirmed. Once we have access to OR's messaging API (that is still being developed) we will also be able to support inquiries. Either-way though, templates and triggers will run through Enso Connect!

Yes, it's showing that they are mapped correctly.
Great, Umi! You should be able to view your live GVR listing by clicking on the green listing link on your GVR API Integration page.
Having trouble seeing your listing on GVR? See I can't find my listing when I search Google Vacation Rentals! FAQ.
Yes, it's showing that they are mapped correctly.
I have connected both of my properties to GVR and in OwnerRez the Listing Status states "Active" in green. Under synced it says "Sync Requested". Does this mean my listing is active and should be showing up on GVR? I can't seem to find my listing. What does Sync Requested mean?
Umi, have you checked the My GVR listing isn't active yet, and it's been longer than anticipated to become active. What can I do?

If you follow our blog, you know we release product updates nearly every week. Sometimes our product update posts have a lot to say; other times they just list bug fixes.
To help our faithful readers, and save room on the blog schedule for other things, we've decided to condense our product update posts to a monthly digest. We will continue releasing updates at the same speed (i.e., weekly), but we'll talk about a month's releases in a single post. Here's the one for March (well, half of March anyway)!
OwnerRez users can use Google Analytics and Meta Pixel (Facebook) tracking to gain valuable insights into potential guest interactions and marketing campaigns related to their vacation rental websites. Google Analytics and Meta Pixel are great tools for any vacation rental business and best of all, they're free to use. You can set things up under Settings > Advanced Tools > Analytics Tracking.
We've now added both Google Analytics and Meta Facebook Pixel tracking to the OwnerRez global landing page, the redesigned Guest Review and Guest Travel Insurance forms, and will also be applied to all remaining Guest Form redesigns!
What does this mean for you? If you are tracking guest interactions through Google Analytics and Meta Pixel (and we hope you are!), know that all of our new guest forms and the global landing page are now included as part of that tracking, whether that be a page view on a hosted website or widget, sending an inquiry, viewing a quote, or a full conversion to a booking!
Add the editing of property photos to mobile. While users could make changes to photo captions on mobile devices, they could not properly view or make those changes. We resolved this issue so users can now properly view and change photo captions on mobile devices.
Airbnb Messages From Guests are Marked as Read. Airbnb guest messages to OwnerRez users were incorrectly marked as read. OR resolved this glitch to ensure that Airbnb guest messages to OwnerRez users will be correctly marked as unread.
Booking Widget Validation Message Error Should Not Tell Guest to Contact OR. When guests inadvertently pasted in and submitted HTML into the notes field on the hosted website booking widget, the displayed validation message incorrectly directed guests to contact OwnerRez rather than the host. OR fixed this bug, and the guest-facing validation message will no longer direct the guest to contact OwnerRez when guests inadvertently paste and submit HTML into the notes field on the hosted website booking widget.
Changing Charges With an Invalid Rate, Sets the Rate to 0 and Keeps the Original Amount. Entering an invalid value (e.g., #, *) in the rate field when surcharges on a quote or booking were edited resulted in the Rate being incorrectly set to 0. Still, the Amount column showed the original amount. OR corrected this issue, and if invalid values are added; users will receive a validation warning of "Invalid value for rate, only numbers and percentages are allowed."
Disabled Properties Show up on Channel Publish Page. Disabled properties were incorrectly displayed on the Publish listing page for applicable channels. Disabled properties will no longer be displayed incorrectly.
Door Codes are Changed When Moving a Booking. Moving a booking with integrated door codes to a different arrival or departure date would result in new door codes being generated.OR corrected this so that the same door code previously generated would be used for the new booking dates.
Duplicate Columns in Owner Statement Expenses Cause Crash When Exporting. Duplicate columns added to the expense section of an owner statement and exported to Excel resulted in errors. We resolved this issue, and users will be prevented from adding duplicate columns to the expense section of an owner statement.
Google Vacation Rentals (GVR):
Property Search Widget Does Not Retain Property URL After First Page. Property search widget results were incorrectly populated with the wrong property webpage URL after proceeding to the second page of results rather than custom property URLs configured. We resolved this bug to ensure that the property search widget custom property URLs configured will be correctly applied after proceeding to the second page of results.
Spot Rate Import Fails When Importing an Excel Sheet With Some Empty Rows. Spot Rate imports encountered import failures when the Excel sheet contained empty rows. OR corrected this issue, and duplicate columns will no longer result in export errors.
Triggers That Send Emails to Guest With a Double-Blind Email Address Do Not Link to the Guest. Email messages sent to guests with double-blind email addresses (e.g., listing channel proxy email addresses) with triggers failed to link to the guest ID. We fixed this glitch to ensure that email messages sent to guests with double-blind email addresses with triggers will link to the guest ID.
Airbnb Remerge Threads Contact Thread on Booking. Some Airbnb API-connected users who were upgraded to the updated Airbnb messaging threads encountered older bookings that did not have contact threads established, resulting in channel trigger failures. We corrected this glitch, and Airbnb messaging threads will be correctly remerged upon booking.
Always Save Trigger Retry Settings. When specific trigger retry settings were added and saved with the additional setting of "Create this trigger in a disabled state - I will activate it later," the trigger retries were not actually saved. OR resolved this issue, and trigger retry settings will be correctly saved.
Calculate Commission on Channel Fees Expenses When Payment/refund Fee is Set. Commissions on channel fees that had an expense were not calculated if no payment/refund method-based fee was configured. We fixed this bug, and commissions on channel fees with an expense will be correctly calculated.
Decrease Execution Time of Calendar Sync Service. To improve the runtime of the OwnerRez calendar sync service, we have increased the number of background concurrent calendar sync tasks.
Fix Bug Causing Phone Numbers to Not Save on Quick Find Or Create Guest Modal Form. When users create a new guest and enter guest contact information, the phone number field is not saved on the Create Guest Modal Form, forcing users to manually reopen the Guest Modal Form and manually re-enter the guest phone number. We resolved this glitch, and guest phone numbers entered into the Create Guest Modal Form will be saved correctly and as expected.
Fix Duplicate Deposit Creation for Airbnb Payouts Without Corresponding External IDs. Some Airbnb payouts without corresponding external IDs generated duplicate deposit transactions. OR corrected this issue, and Airbnb payouts without corresponding external IDs will generate accurate deposit transactions.
Google Vacation Rentals:
Import Lynnbrook Reversals as Refunds. Lynnbrook reversal transactions were incorrectly imported as adjustments rather than the correct refund transactions. We fixed this glitch to ensure that Lynnbrook reversal transactions are correctly imported as refund transactions.
Introduce Processing Delay on Vrbo Threads to Guarantee Message Thread Will be Available on Vrbo Side. Occasionally, Vrbo message threads did not have contact threads established for a booking, resulting in Vrbo booking messages not always being available on the Vrbo platform and triggers fired for unconfirmed Request to Book (RTB) bookings. OR has implemented a Vrbo booking processing delta delay (the smallest time unit one could measure) to ensure that Vrbo message threads have contact threads correctly established.
Property URLs For Hosted Site Widgets Will Generate Valid Links for "Show All on First Load" Correctly. Property search widget results were incorrectly populated with invalid property webpage URLs after proceeding to the second page of results rather than the correct, valid property webpage URLs to show all on the first load. We resolved this bug to ensure that the property search widget will generate valid property webpage URLs to show all on the first load.
Remove Duplicate Errors and Warnings for Vrbo Currency Listing Quality Analyzer. Users that had their property listed on multiple listing channels encountered duplicate Vrbo currency errors and warnings on the Listing Quality Analyzer (LQA). OR fixed this issue, and users with a property listed on multiple listing channels will receive accurate LQA errors and warnings.
Reviews Grid for Missing Last Name of Airbnb Users Will Use Guest Name. The OR reviews grid displayed only "a Airbnb user" if the guest's last name field passed to OR from Airbnb was empty. We corrected this bug, and guest names will be correctly displayed on the OR reviews grid.
Send to Airbnb Contact threads for All Entities. Airbnb contact threads without entities encountered message send failures. OR resolved this glitch, allowing Airbnb contact threads without entities to be sent.
Show Airbnb Channel Details on Deposit Failed Alert if Applicable. Airbnb channel details passed to OR were not included in the Deposit Failure system message email alert sent to users. We corrected this issue, and if applicable, full Airbnb channel details passed to OR will now be included in the Deposit Failure system message email alert sent to users.
Tax Reports Detail Columns Match Selection Criteria Accurately. The Tax Summary and Tax Details reports handled the "Any stay during period" selection inconsistently, with the Tax Summary report including financials for bookings with the departure date on the first date in the date range entered, while the Tax Details report did not. OR changed the Tax Summary to no longer include bookings where the criteria range starts on the departure day of booking.
Hubitat Lock Integration Private Beta Coming Soon:
I intergrated with GVR 3 weeks ago and it still shows pending. Why is that?
Toni, as we stated in our GVR Overview support article, "Users can expect a delay of 2+ weeks before their properties go live on Google Vacation Rentals due to a manual onboarding process by Google Vacation Rentals."
With all of the new GVR API integrations, it is possible that going live will take longer than expected. For reasons unknown, some users have had luck with checking the status of their GVR API Integration.
I intergrated with GVR 3 weeks ago and it still shows pending. Why is that?
Big drawback I see of Enso is their use of biometrics on guest IDs.
Guests have a hard enough time trusting their IDs with just me to have on file, a lot are going to resist this Prison Planet malarky that the young Enso techies are all giddy about.
Their product looks beautiful! I'd love to see how the OR rental agreement flows into their system if anyone is already integrated and cares to share!
It also looks like currently there's no 2-way-sync of check-in/out times -- which is enough of a drawback to make me need to hold off for now. Any ETA on if/when that may be added to the integration?
Hello Susan,
Would you please send in a helpdesk ticket for your Schlage app issue for further investigation.
also if I start with directing to my OR hosted site, can I switch to Google global landing page later? And vice versa? Is it an easy switch?
Good question, John! Yes, switching to the global landing page, or back to your OR hosted website, is always an option and available to you by changing your Landing Page selection on your GVR API Integration page.
So if I already have a direct booking wordpress website not in OR, will I also need to create a landing page from OR to use for Google Vacation listing? I also have landing pages through another platform so I wanted to better understand whether it will be possible to use any of these or if I have to create a new product. Is the landing page for instance part of my subscription or will I have to purchase that separately? Thanks!
Since your website is not hosted by OwnerRez, you'll only have the option to use the global landing page when configuring your GVR API integration, and it will be automatically created for you and hosted by OwnerRez. No, it is not possible to use landing pages from another platform. There are no additional fees outside of your regular subscription fees for the use of the global landing page. Hope this answers your questions, Karen!

Forgive the poor wording on my question.
of the two options:
1. OR hosted site
2. Global Landing Page
it seems like using the OR hosted site is the better option. Is that the consensus?
It depends on what is important to you....
If you use the hosted site option the guest is shown your website/brand directly when they come over from Google. If you use the global landing page, the guest will be taken directly to the quote/booking funnel and not see your website.
Going to your website means that the guest is shown your brand and web pages which gives them a good idea of who you are and what else you offer. They might be more likely to return in the future if they remember your website.
However, going to the quote/booking funnel directly means they will be pushed to book with fewer distractions. Sometimes, when guests visit a travel website, they click around and get distracted without focusing on booking. The global landing page does one job - show the guest pricing and encourage them to book that property.
Thank you for this insight. My tendency is to direct travelers to my OR hosted site. However, it sounds like maybe they may be more likely to book if not distracted by jumping to my site? If this is true, I would rather get the booking now and convert them to my brand later. But is true that it is more likely they will book if not "distracted"? Do we have data that shows this, or at this early stage is it speculative? Thank you!

Thank you so much for the detailed response!
if GVR simply "displays your property listing information from OwnerRez on GVR." Why couldn't the plain text of our cancelation policy be displayed?
You can do this now. Simply edit the description of your property to show the cancellation policy in the body of the description.
And if you want this to only show for GVR (and not the listing body on Air, Vrbo, etc) then create a description override just for GVR.
Forgive the poor wording on my question.
