Sadly though I do get guests coming back asking for a PDF version which I obviously can't supply. I just tell them to go to print in their email programme and save to PDF. Not ideal but better than nothing.
I have a footer on all our emails with all our company details including company number, registered business address and VAT number. On the header of our emails I have our company logo so at least when the guests do print to PDF it looks a bit like an invoice.
If I include our PROCESSING FEE under Rent, the guest views it as a higher rate and this will not work because as a comparison, we will seem much much higher than our competition. This is a HUGE stumbling block for us at this point.
We appreciate you taking the time to submit this feature request! If you know other users who would benefit from this, we'd encourage you to share it with them so they can add their support by way of an upvote at the top of the page.
We need the ability for portal users to add or edit tags. This will allow to create custom workflows for guest messaging. For ex: a cleaner has been given portal access, after cleaning is complete they can add "Cleaning Complete" tag. There can be a workflow created, where when this tag is added the message is sent to next guests indicating that rental is available for check-in.
Tags can be added for other things as well, such damage, supplies needed etc.
Hi there!
What you're asking for is essentially payment schedules, so I'll merge this feature request that direction. If you'd like to add any additional details on how you'd prefer to see this feature function, feel free to add a comment on that thread!

With the vacation rental industry so oversaturated, high inflation and more cost cautious customers it would be very helpful if we could offer direct bookings different payment options. What I'd personally like to do is set my payment options like this.
For reservations that begin 0-89 days after the booking is made - give the option to choose to pay in full or break into two payments.
For reservations that begin 90+ days from booking date - allow customers to choose between paying in full, two payments or MONTHLY payments (with the last due 30 days before check-in). If they choose monthly, I'd love the monthly payments to be collected automatically (even if they aren't for the two payment option).
For people who are not great savers or are careful about not racking up interest payments on credit cards - this could make the difference in being able to secure a reservation or not.
Similarly, from reading previous feature requests, a similar rule could be created to allow the option of monthly payments for multi-month reservations.
Yes, this feature has been commonly requested, but is quite complex. We do intend to add it at some point in the future, but it is uncertain as to exactly when.
I totally get it that the dev team is super busy improving other areas of the software, so no worries on that front.
As to it being "quite complex," though, I don't quite follow. I could write a python script in a couple hours that could do this for me. In fact, I probably will, since it'll be awhile before it makes it into OR.
It looks like all the requests for memorizing report settings are getting merged into this thread, so I'll add this feature here:
It would be super helpful not only to remember the last-used settings on reports, but to actually be able to save specific configuration(s) so they can easily be returned to at later points regardless of what settings get used before then.
Sweet! I'll look forward to seeing the new-and-improved!

You bet! Not a perfect solution by any means, and I definitely see the value in this request.
Thanks for writing it up and have an awesome weekend. 😎
Thanks for this, Bri. This is helpful. I can just slightly customize all our system messages and then they should show up here!
Hey Shannon,
We have the Trigger Forecast that can be filtered by property, but it will show you messages set to fire for individual bookings and does not show System Messages.
Alternatively, you can filter (by property) and sort your Triggers grid to see what is scheduled to fire when at that property (just click the Description column header to sort it. It'll list event based Triggers first and then scheduled ones), but if you're using the description field in any of your Triggers, that will throw the grid sort off. The grid uses the timing of the Trigger firing in the Description column by default, and any descriptions applied manually will throw them out of order. Here's an example. These are in order from first to last:
But if I add a description to the "1 day before booking arrives" Trigger, we see it moves to a different spot now:
I understand that your request includes seeing System Messages as well which we don't include in the Triggers grid unless you've customized a System Message, and this request remains open for voting. I did want to let you know what was possible at present though.
Know anyone else who'd benefit from this? Send them the link so they can add their vote and show there's interest in making this happen.
YES! It is so challenging to visualize/understand the message flow. We annually go through to update all messages and man it's extra laborious because of this.

I’d like to suggest a future enhancement related to communication visibility. There are times when it’s important for us to see all emails associated with a specific property and the exact order in which they are sent. Right now, I’m not aware of a simple way to view this in one place.
It would be extremely helpful if we could click on a property and see a complete communication workflow that shows, in timeline order, every system message, template, and trigger that would be sent from the time of booking forward.
Just to clarify, I know we can see the communication history, and also the scheduled communication within each booking. Sometimes it's necessary to see it at the property level, before the booking even occurs so when the bosses say "Hey, show me a visual workflow of all the emails a guest receives from time of booking for property XYZ" there is something that shows it ALL.
Hey James, are you already on PMv2? If so, you can create a custom formula to achieve this!
Is this out yet and if so can you point me towards it please?
Hey Elliot,
We actually have a major overhaul of the Photos page dropping in the next week or two that should address all of these concerns! I'll provide an update here when that drops.
