Hey everyone, quick update that this feature request has changed status to In Development, and actually the development is already over, and it's in testing as I write this. All reports will have a new active and disabled properties selector. I'm looking forward to getting this one out - long overdue!

I would also like this feature to include a way to automatically apply a discount to a booking if the "Repeat Guest" tag is on.

Currently i send out review request along with security deposit release. and if they are a repeat guest I ask them to fill in a Google Review.
We are planning on moving away from security deposits but would miss this extra point of contact. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE a Review request if they haven't already
AND send a different message if they are a repeat guest too hopefully??

Interesting - looking forward to more updates. It seems to me like the MTR market is ripe for consolidation with no clear leader (maybe Furnished Finder). Zillow could easily step into that space. They already have online application/ screening and e-leasing built out for long term rentals (for free!). I would love to get more exposure but I'm not going to pay $149/year per listing to Furnished Finder. It would be helpful if we could simply push some listing content (photos, descriptions) out to Zillow Rental Manager (or other sites), even without a calendar sync. It's probably a lot more technically complex than I imagine...
For pricing, we've been successful using PriceLabs for both STR and MTR. We have rules in PL to block short stays for dates that are far away (e.g. 30 nights are required for any dates that are 7+ nights in the future; inside of 7-nights, flip to a 2-night minimum). The gradual last minute discounts are also very effective in driving people to book a 30+ night stay that includes more of the more heavily discounted nights.

I just got an update from the CEO of Furnished Finder and we are 12-18 months out for really any major change. We might get iCal, but unlikely.
I have a meeting with another large scale company that has already built in integrations with Guesty, OwnerRez, Streamline, Escapia, and Track that might be willing to launch an MTR OTA like platform.
The major key in my mind is the pricing algorithm and avoiding a 29 night vacancy.

I noticed it's been a while since this topic was updated so I thought I would nudge this. In addition to some of the ideas mentioned above, are there any integrations in the works? Zillow, Apartments.com, Furnished Finder, Homads, HelloLanding, Craigslist?
Zillow seems to be opening the door for more furnished rental listings (when you list a property there, they now allow a lease term of "1 month" and have checkboxes for properties that are furnished).
Setting a tax percentage calculates the true amount to the cent, most tax authorities round to the nearest dollar. To make accounting easier, can we add this feature? Otherwise, bookkeeping entries need to be made manually to account for the difference
Give the option on the bookings statistics booking report to show by revenue or nights booked, not just by # of reservations.
Allow this to be displayed by % for quicker reference. The data is already there so these should be easy to implement.
Bonus would be if they would also allow it to be displayed as a pie graph

Great idea. In my use case, I tag a guest as "good" after we inspect the property at check out. That triggers my "thanks for staying with us" email. Works great. But I would really like for it to also Trigger a release of the security deposit hold we have. Access to "commands" from the tags would be wonderful.

We would love to have a direct integration with Inntopia. An Inntopia connection would allow us to take advantage of powerful up/cross sell opportunities, bigger itineraries, and the ability to market to and service guests. OwnerRez partners, especially in Ski Resort Areas, would be able to help our guests book everything – lodging, lift tickets, tee-times, spa, rentals, and more – in one simple transaction. Currently the manual work required for us to partner with our local tourism/destination marketing organization limits the opportunities we could take advantage of if we were able to integrate with the Inntopia Platform.
Show max rent from other listing sites crossed out, with base rent on hosted website.
On detailed page, show quote for each listing site. With option to go to that site to book.
If you have the insurance option selected, have an option to increase rent to cover.
Allow the guests to have the option to pay a security deposit or pay more which includes the insurance.

When doing automatic deposits, allow COGS categories to be an appropriate expense category. Our merchant fees are billed to COGS in QB.

The criteria selectors are incomplete without "And" & "Or" functions; at least for discounts and surcharges.
In the real world, if a discount is applicable for a given period it means that it applies to each night on this period and not to others. For instance if a discount is offered for (nights of) Dec. 1 - 10, it means that someone booking from Dec. 5 to 15 will get the discount for the nights of 5 - 10, then the normal rates for the remaining nights.
When setting this up using arrival and departure dates, it does not work at all. Someone leaving after the set departure date will not get any discount, which is not logical. There's a way around it by using seasons instead of arrival / departure criteria but in some cases it requires creating additional seasons = an extra hassle. I guess that adding "And" & "Or" functions would solve this.

It would be great to be able to set whether a discount / special offer or surcharge is "combinable" (cululative) with another special on the same period. For instance, you could have a 10 % discount for weekly stays and a 20% discount for last-minute bookings. In some cases they are cumulative, in most they are not.

Its would be great to have two separate prices, one for non-refundable bookings (at a discount) and separate price for refundable bookings
This is an absolute must;
We now have no history of who is making changes to bookings and when changes occur to bookings themselves.
Ownerrez however is tracking all of this internally from what i understand, please bring it to the front so users can see.

Let's say 10 properties were in service all year and then got disabled last week December, then you annual reports dont include revenue and PM commission?
Now I have properties that we don't manage and I have to keep as active just so I can get accurate reporting;
Triggers for Reports would be great. I'd love to see a daily report emailed to myself. Owners would love a weekly/monthly sales report automatically emailed.

I would like to see an extended calendar on inquires. I have gap rules, and sometimes the calendar does not show how large the gaps are with other bookings. Here is an example: If someone makes an inquiry for Sunday-Friday, the calendar shows only one week, starting Sunday, ending Saturday. So I have no idea by a quick look if that reservation would leave gap nights, because the calendar doesn't extend far enough. I would like to see a full week BEFORE the reservation being requested, and a full week AFTER the check-out date.
I'm not seeing that there's any condition of a quote or inquiry that makes sense for a trigger to be made for, such as the quote not made into a booking. So I don't see how anything can be done with this.
Inquiry Triggers were released earlier this year, and quote triggers were released earlier this week! I'm marking this one as Released as there are multiple trigger types and options.
